Well this is the trade rumour mill but I don't hear pick 2 being given for that. At the moment I hear Pick 2 Adel for R Sloane, Pick 20 (or is it 19?) + ruckman to GWS for Taylor adams. If they can fit Rockliff in as well somehow, roll on Round 1!

Or are you just assuming that part? I don't think GWS would have too much trouble picking up a ruck equal to Spencer in another way. Eg. Third round pick for Hampson

McDonald's defensive actions are superb, and with Chip an RFA next year there's no way that they'd look at trading him I don't think. We'd be left with Garland and Dunn as our only talls in the backline.

On Howe, I envisage he and Watts alternating from half-forward to wing, where one will always push defensively. He definitely needs to work harder on his game when not in possession, but he seems to have the application and desire to do so.

Our biggest issue at the moment for this trading period is that we don't have a lot of currency to work with.

As is always the case, the only players people will want are those we won't want to give! If you do a list on our untouchables and then questionables and then definites you will find we don't have a lot of bargaining power! Except for our draft picks!!

What I was trying to say is that TA won't nominate for PSD because he hasn't got MFC as his preferred destination. A deal will have to be done with GWS. FYI we are offering our first 2nd round pick and a player. Enough of the alphabet!

I like Gawn and Fitzy. Spencer skills are not the greatest. Unfortunately Jamar I think is past best. What we could get for him I don't know!

Club is in a quandary over our available forwards/talls. We have Clark, Dawes, Hogan, Fitzpatrick, Spencer, Gawn, Jamar. All don't fit. They know we need backups but that is way to many. Expecting at least Spencer to get the sqeeze and maybe Jamar.

Told me we were big into Roos in May. Told me we had him 10 days before announcement. Told me Watts had agreed to 3 year deal a week before announced and that is just recent stuff. Yeah this guy has been pretty good. However trade stuff is different, lots of variables. We are not the only kid on the block chasing!

Don't forget though that Adams is not a free agent. Any club that wants him has to deal with gws. No one else can offer them pick 2.

But if he does want to come to us, offer him a good sum of money to go into the psd. Play hard ball

Yes! He isn't a gun yet, just a potentially good player! Good players in the VFL are many inc. Magner, Couch, Sellar, Pedersen etc etc. It should have no bearing on whether a PP is handed out! As I said PP should be scrapped for all time!
