WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
Hold up would have been Dodoro and Dee's not budging on their prospective plays, until we finally folded.

hey Jack Jack Did you ever get around to getting a copy of AD series 4? If you have I'd be interested to get your thoughts on it. I'm currently 12 Episodes down into it and so far its left me pretty disappointed, nothing compared to the first 3 series. cheers s81

Haha. Tobias has got some of the best lines going on the show. I read somewhere all 13 episodes will be released all at once an 'netflix', I'm not really across the techo side of things but I think they're a US online TV network. Can't get it here, so ill be looking out for avenues to obtain it, if you're keen I can give you a shout out when i find any info out. But back to the original point, 13 episodes come out in may and then they're might be a movie after that, tying up all stories within the show. Good times ahead.

There's SFA on at the moment. I'm heartened by the fact that Arrested Development (not the rap group) will be back on our screens come May this year, one of the most underratted TV shows of last decade.

Anyone for cricket?
Who's in scouring through the papers reading the scores? They'd be the type rooting for Mitch Johnson's inclusion. As Nasher alluded to, Bird's managed to get wickets across the mainland as well. But, it matters very little now, as he's not in the side. Keep on keeping on I guess, good luck to Hazlewood all the same.

Was going to post something similar but you beat me to it. 27 wickets at a nudge over 20 and can't get a look in. Hazlewood's taken under 10 wickets. Nothing against the young kid, but would've thought 27 @ 20 wld be good enough. Hope he sticks at it and gets rewarded accordingly. Starc should get the nod ahead of Johnson. Saying that, think RSA still have the edge I feel.

YM is brilliant. Get your hands on "The Thick of It", in the mold of YM, but a bit of acerbic. Look out of the Director of Comms Malcolm Tucker, a force to be reckoned with! Its know YM, but pretty good all the same.

Is the bloke going to be really worth it? From what I have seen has done SFA with Gold Coast. Its like we're salivating over the fact a new franchise player is homesick so we should pay whatever to get him here.

Thanks for the link H_T, great read. I might need to go on a search mission for Gideon's book on the Cricket War! Watched last night as well, loved it. That bit with Hookesy and KP was probably the funniest scene of the lot. Lachy Hulme has outdone himself as the main role. Every Op Shop in Australia must have been raided for the 70's get up, great depiction of the times. Thought John Cornell is surely batting above his average with Delvene Delaney! Looking forward to next Sunday night already.

Mark Neeld's Spray on Morton.
Hanlon could have gone alot harder on Morton (if was a Herald Sun journo) but it didn't, I thought it was a reasonable article. At the time, you would think that a 17 year old player who was is States (WA) best player for that year, standing at 192cm and touted as a bloke with a massive engine and skills would be a gun by now. But alas, poor development and just his innate ability to undo his good work with some shocking decisions in the space of 5 mins of play his downfall and costly one at that. I've seen it transpire over the last 5 years, its not getting any better, its not getting any worse. Put him up for a trade and see what you get for him. At 22, he's still has some upside, its just whether MFC/or a new club can bring that out him. The young fella is certainly at the crossroads,

Mark Neeld's Spray on Morton.
He was copping in the bars as well. Some bloke went absolutely nuts at him with words to the effect of "Get off the ground Morton, you peice of ...". He was saying what we all thinking at the time. Not sure whether he got kicked out or not, it was in the members dining room.
