Thats the problem. They are clearing the books for next year and need Oliver and Trac to go. We have lost all leverage. We could have framed it differently to put us in a position whereby we had more leverage but this hasnt happened. We hedged our bets on Bailey thinking it was going to get done, but the position of GC has put a halt to this.

Thanks mate. Im disappointed in the decision also. Everyone in the Industry knows he wants to come to us, the question is does GC relent on their position? who knows now! We havent stopped the conversation about him and I am assuming we wont until the deadline. Stranger things have happened so I havent lost complete hope. He is either with us or GC next year. Hi Mo. Bailey has definitely told the dees and GC that he would be open to a trade to the dees. This has fallen on deaf ears and from what I am being told BH has almost given up on the idea now unless there is a significant change of heart from GC. His manager is aware, the dees are aware and GC are aware. His manager has his hands tied due to GC position. Melbourne are now looking at what else they can throw in to make it happen but are also mindful that they dont want next years first pick to be swallowed up in gaining BH. The way I see it, its the only way this gets done now "My opinion". Craig cameron is number enemy number 1 and he has shot this down in a ball of flames. I dont know what it will require to change his stance, even the suggestion of throwing additional picks is just a guess from the dees at this stage. Pray my fellow MFC supporters that between now and 7.30pm tonight something drastic happens.

Sorry all. Been in boardroom meeting for work (New CEO). Just looked at my phone and I got a message saying "its getting very heated at the moment" and someone he has referred to as a complete Wack Job. Not sure who that refers to though. For those that think this is done better prepare for their opinion to change. There is life still in this deal. Whether or not it happens is anyones guess now.

Listen PPP. I dont have to prove anything to you. I am confident that my source is the most reliable contact. It cant be coincidental that some of the things I have said have come to fruition before media find out. Believe what you want, you dont know me and nor do I know you, so I get the sceptism. That is the issue. I feel (IMO) that if Bailey comes out early enough, it may open the doors for other clubs to entertain him and try and trade for him. In this instance we would only be left with the picks. Are they waiting for enough time to elapse to make it happen without risk? I dont know
