Probably longer ago except for the fact that the club was ruined by incompetent management from the board down. No one is expecting Clayton Oliver or Sam Weideman to drag us out of the s...., this has already started but these kids will add to the structure that has now been started. I will be disappointed if we don't move into the 6 - 12 region of the ladder next season and I think only injury will hold us back.

Thought I should get back to your original point 'ILL', Weideman is a good size already and will be a real handful when he adds a bit more strength and fitness. I like the look of him.CP5...really looking forward to watching him.

As 'ProDee' says they compliment each other. Viney is great at hitting up the packs and oppo players but Tyson is the extractor and smarter around the clearances, I think many underestimate his strength in a contest.

Put the ball in a pack and Tyson would be the extractor.

When Cook was interviewed in his first year he went along the lines of taking his time and developing at Casey...didn't happen. Weideman's first interview he says he's aiming to play senior footy this year, he said one game would be great but he's not setting limits...I like his attitude. Given an injury free run I would expect to see him lining up some time in 2016.

I love that he's aiming to play AFL in his first year, as he says the sky's the limit.

We wait and see 'Munga'...we are now in the honeymoon period and won't get an idea until the games start rolling around. It may be a few years until we get a reasonable assessment of the strategy... Doubtful

This clip gave a better view of him, as we have had a couple of bulls in Moloney and Silvia with little and no awareness his earlier highlight clips didn't show enough. The kid looks to have good awareness and is not afraid to bring teammates into the game or take it on where appropriate.

Tyson is our best inside mid.

If you have a look at this kids quick decision making and ball use, you get the Mitchell comparison. ...but yes Mitchell is a freak and it would be asking a lot of anyone to come up to his standard.

I'm not making any comparisons, just saying that McKenzie was a competitor. I don't think that can be denied. Wines is much more than a competitor, Oliver may or may not be, McKenzie was pretty much only a competitor. If we take Oliver, being a competitor will only be one part of the reason...

McKenzie was a competitor. So Parish 2 time AA v Oliver didn't play a game for Vic Country. That's a big call..

...but then you might risk missing a Judd or a Selwood. I don't think we should take unnecessary risks, it's why I thought we should have stayed clear of Bennell but if they are the cream of the crop and the medical checks out then let's take them.

Picking a teenager in a draft is always going to be somewhat speculative 'bb' regardless of the position they play. The 2 we pick could be the next Silvia and Tambling...

You'd only want to consider his scans, medicals..
