I think Mark Thompson was just about to be sacked in the earlier part of his coaching tenure......He then went on to win two flags and coach in numerous final series....Imagine if he was sacked....Would the cats still have done as well......Cooke was in charge at the time......Just saying.....

I think the more game time Gillies gets the better....He has only played 16 games finding it hard to break into the Cats strong line up He is only 22.....He will improve....

I have just read an article in the HS about Bulldogs player Dale Morris and the agony that he and his wife went through after he broke his leg ... We sometimes forget what determination AFL players have to get over injuries. We all sit back and criticise players and are keyboard hero's telling them that they are spuds ect. but have no idea what they go through just to play this great game of ours. I know they get paid well but so they should. It is a must read article and if I knew how to post a link I would.

I think the trouble with commentators these day is that they all try to be funny and take the p!ss out of each other....Listening to Brian Taylor last night was horrible.....He was having a go at Richo whilst the play was going down to the Rich end........Did not call the footy and missed some brilliant play by the Tiges.......They are paid to CALL the game.......Not try to be amusing......Sandy Roberts was the best....made it exciting and you actually knew where the footy was .....

I am sure I heard the other day that the magistrate issued the warrant even though the legal team explained the reason for his non attendance....I could be wrong though......

LJ was arrested because he failed to appear at the Adelaide Mag Crt ......He was in Alice Spring at the time......He was represented by his legal team and the warrant was a formality.........He was charged two or three months ago for a fight with his partner......Lets not get hysterical.....These are NOT fresh charges.....

Mate....10 years ago I would have agreed with you......but now I am much more confident that our club will not only suvive but it can prosper I see that Carlton and Collwood have debts in the millions...and there are a lot of clubs worse off than us.....Slowly but surely we are becomming relevant.....Just need a few wins...
