I promised myself I would stay away from DL this week as it would be filled with doom and gloom and just depressing, but I couldn't resist.......This is the biggest load of crap I've heard for a long while We all want our team to bond together....be mates....look after each other.......but now they get bagged by the AFL's party boy for having a spa and a laugh...... What are they supposed to do????.......Walk around depressed???.....Mope????.....Blame each other.....Don't tell me the dogs don't have a laugh at training.....Or GWS and the Gold Coast.....Geez....I would hate to go to work and not be able to function normally....and I have retired from a career where black humour is the norm and required to get through...... I know that the past three weeks have been awful but if we can't have a laugh all the players would have depression and things would just worse.....

Don't know if this has been explained to you.......Farmer walked out when his contract expired....wanted to go back home......Big offer was made but rejected to go home.....Pike was a drunk but got over this when football career was in jepody.....Jackovic did a lower leg injury and went to the Dogs and played, I think 5 games, for them.........Don't let fact ruin a good story.....

If your refering to "Insider"....I have often watch this show and I find David Kings analisis misleading......He points out that players should have been in one position.....but for the bounce of the ball going the other way he would be saying the opposite ....It's so easy in hindsight....and I find he is not the expert he thinks he is........

All I can say is.....God help the new CEO with this club........and we don't take money from the footy dept to plug holes elsewhere....

Yes it was risky but without it we would just be the same as the past years....Something had to change to change the culture of this club....I reckon we needed someone to shake this club out of it's lethargic ways...It is a process that will succeed in the long run...

Didn't know where to post this but it seems appropriate here Went to the physio this morning....Checked in and went to sit in the waiting room....As I sat down I was approached by an 8 year old who asked me if I barracked for Melbourne........I said Yes and asked him how he knew???.....He replied that he had seen my key ring (which also holds a demon emblem) and that he barracked for them too....I asked what he thought about the situation we were in and he replied....We will be fine and he had barracked for the demons for all of his life (Yep the whole 8 years)but we all need to "stick fat" as he put it......It restored my faith in the footy club and in Melbourne supporters.... Just thought I would share......If an 8 year old has faith.....Then so do I.....

Hang on.....I'll just go out the back to the CEO tree and pick a good one for us.....Oh..then I will go the the board tree and find a new board who are willing to spend hour and hours of un paid work......Then to the coach tree and again pick a goodun See it's all fixed now...except the player tree...Sh!t I cut that down as it was ruining my view.....

So when we become good again....You will support????....We wont want you then.....I'll put the same question to you that I put to RR.....Come up with the alternatives.....Weak as I'm afraid...

Geezz Rangy......Congrats....Your the first one on my ignore list.....You yell and curse at this club but have not put up an alternative.... If all the people you want sacked who replaces them....You.....Give me a break...

I don't understand this hate for Schwab.....He was told to get out of the FD...so he did....Does not get involved or comments on the footy side of things......Now people complain that he is not saying anything....The club itself is in a better state than it has in my life time....all except for the footy side of things......You people can not have it both ways....

Take your revolution elsewhere RR......We need unity.....You have a choice...If you don't like it ...go...Simple really....

Well, after my rant last night saying that I'm done with this club.......This morning ,after a good night sleep, I will stick by the club.....I'm a MCC member but always pay for a full MFC membership as a donation.....After being a member for 50 years, how could I abandon them now in their darkest days.....?????

That's it....I give up.....never again will I go through that crap......I am ashamed that I have been a member for the past 50......No more for me....

I played with Greg Wells in the old VFA.....He is a Bentleigh boy who has his own sign writing business which he started back in those days.....He is a very successful business man and has a good football knowledge or he did have....I don't know about now though.....

Do you really believe that it would be so simple????? Where are you going to find all these people?????? Every body has baggage....... A fresh start might be the answer but it may just destroy the club....... You need first to find people that are prepared to do a hell of a lot of work....Unpaid work...and form a ticket to run against the current board.... I believe this club has done a lot since the last board was in charge......It on the field that we need to improve....and then no one would be moaning about boards and CEO"s boot studders and the like.....

Mate it's not the title of the thread.... it's your continual moaning....I like reading other posters views whether I agree or not....But you have a bee in your little bonnet and are the most depressing poster on here......Just saying ....What is your alternative ....If they all go tomorrow......Who would you have replace them???????

Rangy........can we please give it a rest?.....We all know your views.......We don't need reminding every post at every minute of every day..... I haven't heard of any ground swell of a challenge coming for the board......If you are planning a revolution ....Please let us know....But until there is an alternative can you just let it go for a while........Your post are becoming depressing.....Thanks.....

Lay off the guy......At least he turns up week after week, supporting the club....Try's to add something during a really dismal day......There are a lot of things to complain about before this poor fella....

I guess it was a long trip home Hard Track....Good effort for coming though....

My Grandmother and my Mum were demons....We would go to every game during the season (Geelong included)..We would stand behind the goals at the Punt Rd end and my sisters and I would wave our floggers which we had made the night before.....Memberships got you in to every game in those days.....Great days.....We would rush home to watch the TV replays.....Good wins....Bad loses.....It didn't matter....Footy was God....

If he does go....he will receive a pay out that the club cannot afford.....We will be without a CEO for some considerable whilst we find a suitable replacement.....You either want him to publically talk about the footy side of things..or you don't Which is it....? This club is out of debt now....It has never been out of debt since I can remember(I'm nearly 60)....But you go ahead join a revolution and burn down the place....It might make you feel better.....
