    It's the players that I feel for.........They are just young blokes trying to play a game they love (unfortunately they play for the red and blacks) I don't really care about the EFC.......but all these players, young men, trying to be the best footballers they can be..... I just wish that this would all be resolved and we can get back to the footy.....

    Come on Crawf.......Family, friends, Children, Work????.....Much more important than a game of footy on the weekend.......We all love our footy club and want them to win everyweek but Geez man....There is always next week or next year or next something....You have to have a laugh now and then or you end up with depression I know you are the most optimistic here on DL.......Chin up...

    I have in the past supported LJ but I think it would be a very long bow to draw that he will resume his AFL career (with us or anybody else)....I just don't think it will happen....But it is great that he seems to want to get his life back together......but I feel that he would have to change a lot in his life to be disciplined enough to fit in the AFL scene....Just my opinion ..... As for 316's comment about PJ.........All I have heard is talk....Seen nothing as yet.......Not knocking him, just saying.....

    First....Thanks for the spelling lesson.... I AM 6'8" and weigh 95 kilos I actually trained with MFC under 19's a long time ago but was not good enough The Western Bulldogs were described as a complete basket case earlier this year....said to have no one putting in....All the football "experts" said that there was no spirit in the group and they were going no where...Even Melb beat them......Funny that with a bit of confidence sees them playing a lot better football with structure and purpose.....That's all I was saying.... Confidence and trust are powerful traits that we just don't have in our team at the moment and therefore look "soft"......Calling players cowards (as one poster stated) is just ignorant IMO Hope my spelling is correct..

    I find it rather funny that supporters call our players "cowards. Pea hearts, soft as butter" etc When they are hiding behind an avatar on a internet site...Keyboard hero's comes to mind..... Yes I know that we are all devastated by this season and it looks like the players don't give a dam but to me they just look completely void of any confidence or hope. I agree with comments that we went too defensive from the start with players behind the ball as we on many occasions had no one to kick to up forward and therefore had to kick laterally and backwards.....I saw Nth do this as well against Ess, effectevely .......This type of footy sh!ts me to death...... Just as an aside......Freo had 60 more rotations for the game due to our injuries....

    I just love how there are so many coaching experts on this site Having played and coached at VfA and local level......I would have absolutely no idea of how to coach an AFL side, or have the knowhow to be able to select the best coach....... I think I will leave it to the club and support their decision ....Whoever it may be.

    I will state that I have been a JW fan.......But his attitude on the Footy show made me angry.....This club does not exist for Jack Watt's benefit.... The whole "If the club starts winning games I will consider playing for them" bulltish makes me mad A foolish decision to let him be on the Footy show.(I think his manager has a lot to do with it)

    As I don't think Dank would ever get another job in the field.......I just wonder what the implications would be??? Bans..??? Fines....????......If he is no longer in the profession how then can he be punished.......Just wondering..

    I really don't understand why everyone wants to trade Watts........He has had a pretty good season and will just keep getting better as he matures....... I think we need a midfield but not at the expense of players who imo will keep getting better...... Watts in a good side would be icing on the cake..... Trading is a bit over rated.......IMO

    Yarran is contracted till the end of 2015........IMO is an average player in an average team......He has leg speed(Blease) but doesn't get the ball anywhere near what we would require.......He has occasional bursts of brilliance which we all think is terrific but goes missing for long parts of the game.....I think we have enough of them.

    Just a point I'd like to be cleared up......With this new legislation.....As far as I read it Dank must present himself for interview by ASADA and produce all documents in relation to same..... I don't see anywhere where it says that he must answer any questions put to him..... Even a person charged with murder has the right to say nothing..... Dank has stated that he has no documentation and left all paper work with Ess... Can someone please inform me if this is correct or not Thanks

    I remember my old man yelling at Barry Vagg to get off his armchair and chase an opponent in 1963.....I know it is a different game now days....When Robbo played it was not so much expected until at the end of his career....(chasing opps)

    Gezz....All I was saying that he leads our goal kicking at the moment........In an absolute crap year for all our players he hasn't done a bad job as some posters (experts) on here suggest......I would hate to be playing in our forward line at the moment.......but as always someone will want to trade him or delist him, or shoot him... And as for the crap about our past players.......According to some on here we haven't had a good player since RDB or Robbie Flower.......

    Eade coaching at coll.........Choco coaching at Rich........I don't think either of them would have trouble with the young blokes......When Eade was coaching at the Bulldogs he had a very senior list and was making finals....
