But they are not that Talented…
Bontempelli has talent, everyone else is way below his standards
Pretty much the whole league is below the Bont's talent

Wouldn't be surprised if Bevo wasn't coaching next week. He needs to go some kind of spiritual retreat or something. Not be coaching.

Not entirely sure Caleb Daniel's loss of form may be all his own fault. Beveridge has gone from being intuitive to barmy.

aaaand TV switched off. I’d sooner stick toothpicks through my eyeballs than watch those disgusting fans celebrating their just as disgusting team’s win. 🤮🤮🤮
We lose and Essendon win. Great start to the weekend.
I'm with you WCW.

I’m also yelling at the clouds coz I find that guy’s affectation super irritating. IMDb says he’s an actor, I say he’s an over-actor 😁
We may be a club of two WCW. He was waxing lyrical about little Cody Weightman, but (as you perfectly noted) his affectation is that you'd adopt if describing the valour of a VC recipient.

Old man yelling at cloud but that pre match voice over [censored] annoys the hell out of me

Reckon the Bummers may run Footscray pretty close. Don't forget they have the Edge. Not so long ago they had The Weapon.

How will I know u??
I'll have a carnation between my teeth, a velvet jacket not dissimilar to that worn by Graham Teasdale and a cheese board. Mt Eliza local so will prop in front of the old stand if I rock up.

AMW I have been impressed with but seems to be perenially injured.Jeffo does something Van Rooyen doesn't. Takes consistent One grab marks
May wander down Picket. He's the one who may surprise a few. Van Rooyen has been incredibly disappointing for mine. I tend to be glass half full, but JVR now has the worst hands since old Richmond ruckman Mark Lee (if anyone remembers him)

* violence apparently doesn’t solve anything. I might find out later.
Don't recommend it IHW. Even if you get bail before I'm back in Mt Eliza.

He's OK when the ball comes in soft but not when it comes in with pace.
You may be right. I do know that he can't be dishing up what he has been. Take the damn game on. There's a point in time where we may as well give Jefferson an earlier than expected crack.

I have said it once and I will say it again JVR has cricketers hands when the ball comes in at pace his wrists are cocked back to far and his hands are facing the ball on impact.
Why do forwards always start from behind or stand on the wrong side of the incoming ball and stand flat-footed hope they change it after half time.
What's disappointing about that is that he used to clunk everything for Casey.

Petty doesn’t give a stuff. Looks like he has checked out. Only positive is Rivers.
Must admit, I've thought that for a while. There's no way we're getting a first round pick based on tonight's effort.

Clarry is a champion. I'm backing him to work his way back into the game.

Stunned that he can't get a game with the Doggies. Very smart player. Great reader of the play.

How's that last Saints v Tigers review! Crazy. Is it a goal umpire requirement to be crippled with self -doubt?

CASEY: Rd 03 vs Port Melbourne
in Melbourne Demons

Wandered down today to sunny Franga, quickly inserting myself into the quarter time huddle and congratulating the Kolt on playing his first game. Max, JVR were there also.
Very small crowd and found myself standing next to Alan Richardson, McWalter? and Goody.
What I can say is that, through a little subtle eaves dropping, (I.e. reading a newspaper with two eye holes for visibility) the following definitely impressed Goody and Richo:
Sestan
Lachie Hunter - particularly second half.
Verall
Choco Williams is a great clubman. Gets around players. A master of instilling belief.
