Rumour is that Melbourne Football Club is actually an elaborate reality television series designed to measure football supporter's breaking points. All other supporters are actually paid actors as are clearly the players, coaching panel and board...
We have to start showing something to attract players or attract interest in the club.
At the moment there is a smell of total incompetence and weakness about the club at every level.
Actually each player comes out alone and all the members have their own loudspeakers and we see whose hair goes back the furtherest from the hot air...
My mate - a Richmond supporter so has some of his own history - thinks that the dees should hand around a loud speaker at the next home game allowing every supporter to let one player know how they think.
None of our players had any impact other than Jeremy Howe. At least under Bailey on our day you might see a bit of life. We are passed defibrillation now.
Even if our list is terrible and that is the problem, the coach's job is to get the best out of his players. A season and a half and effort being our biggest factor clearly tells me that the coach is at least partially at fault. And ofcourse this is Neeld's side.
I hope that a new coach - a respected and experienced coach - can come in and inspire this list. Otherwise we are probably looking at a total rebuild. Other than some of the youngsters that we picked up last year Im not sure I even agree that we have a 'good core group of young players'.
You watch the doggies and you see Dahlhous and you can see the future. Can we say the same?
