  1. main thing I learnt is that what might have happened and is happening within the club might be totally different to what the media and the online community thinks.totally different.
  2. If you asked me two days ago about neeld I would have said time to go. A conversation I had yesterday has completely changed my view. He has at least some player support and perhaps he is just feeling the effects of a culmination of bad decisions and cultural problems.
  3. Sydney had enough money to be paying Plough. When gws came in how was it that two struggling sides lost potential top notch players rather than the big end of town. I doubt a priority pick will save us but with tanking we took one for many.
  4. All I'll say is that there are two sides to the Moloney story and there are players who may try and leave if need is sacked rather than the opposite. Neeld has a lot of internal support despite what the papers say. I have another revelation but I won't post it. Pm if interested.
  5. Bruce was champion of our club who deserved to be treated with respect.
  6. Its funny - I posted this revelation (about Moloney being upset because he didn't get the captaincy) months ago so I guess it once again proves my golf buddy is sound in his sources. There is more to the story as well (as in two sides) - you may also find Moloney didn't agree with much of neeld's new ideas and often made that known vocally with other players in ear shot. Or so I'm told. But I'm not judging whether it was Brent or neeld who will ultimately be proven right. I know or two other secrets as well. You may find one or two players aren't holding out on resigning hoping to hear neeld will be sacked - but the opposite. Two will try to walk if neeld goes. And on that you can hang your hat.
  7. Daniher did not let the players run the show that is for sure.
  8. excellent post. Send it to Peter Jackson.
  9. Paul roos benefitted from the ground work that Rodney ease put into Sydney. He revolutionized the game by nearly ruining it. someone told me that the 'time is Plough' lol.
  10. correct northey got some of the benefits laid down by barassi in the same way roos benefitted from the hard yards put in by rocket eade at the swans.
  11. these posts are always based on the assumption that Moloney was sooking but what if he was just voicing the concerns of many players? The fact that brad green had to ask other players to buy in when he left and what rivers has said now leads me to the conclusion that few have bought in and he may have - as grant Thomas suggested - lost the players from the get go. Moloney says he didn't believe in neeld as a coach. Hells gates and others have raised fundamental concerns about neeld's game day coaching ability. this is a coach who moved Moloney out indirectly, ensuring Nathan Jones will always be tagged, added three newbies to the midfield and continues with McKenzie and then expresses surprise that we got smashed in the centre in round 1 to port. I just think there is more to the Moloney rivers story than people sometimes suggest. Moloney was a diehard see after all and while he was woefully inconsistent, him being in the side would have sheltered and helped our young mids and drawn a tag away from Nathan Jones.
  12. Neeld chose fringe players and a forward over midfielders so therefore it is his fault.
  13. The demons could do with a Eddie.
  14. absolute hogwash and unlike you I have actual inside info. While a new coach might help he was loving the Dees preseason and wants to continue playing with Mitch and Jones. the thing that will make him go is fickle supporters who say he doesn't smile enough.
  15. I think it goes all the way back to when Scott Thompson left myself.
  16. Ok here is how we fix this. step 1. Admit that without a midfield the rest of the year is a write off. step 2. Admit that the best defenders and forwards in the world would struggle without a functioning midfield. step 3. Who will replace mark Jamar? step 4. Whether you like it or not mark neeld isn't going to be attracting players to the club now. We need a new coach (respected and experienced) who can start to build belief. step 5. Exodus bollocks. Only one is a free agent. step 6. Most importantly of all. Realize the game is won and lost in the midfield. We need one that is competitive by 2014 and not by drafting. We need a few guns and not free agents. We need to trade two or three players with currency to get these mids and it may hurt but once our midfield is competitive so will we be and there starts belief and confidence.
  17. Lock him up with 4. Hell we gave Pederson 3 years so why not? Then trade watts and frawley for midfield guns is my call. It starts in the midfield.

  19. I don't buy the core at all. No one is non expendible at this stage. you can have silvani and buddy in our side and it would change nothing. We need a midfield and not through drafting one but by 2014. A good coach will attract players but we will also need to sacrifice a few players with currancy for some solid experienced mids. once the midfield is addressed we will at least be competitive. watts is a forward
  20. something to do with the fact that Sam is struggling at Casey.
  21. Pederson was signed for three years for a start. who will ruck after Jamar?
  22. Read chip's mind: I know Sylvia and watts want out asap and so do I but how can I do it without looking like a [censored]...
