I just think the engine is where we need talent and x factor. I dont rate lever as highly because i havent seen any highlights where he takes contested possessions. Laverde over mcmartin for me i think. I sense x tactor. petracca is a man using brute strength against boys for mine.

I must admit laverde is my favourite based on highlights.

Not convinced by lever. Think laverde is in the mix and pickett would be a risk. hope saints take McMartin but i hear Petracca is family friends with saints coach.

Can i ask what it is about wright and lever that you guys like so much? Roos said he doesnt like drafting super talls and Wright is about as agro as watts. Lever apparentlh oozes leadership and i know our guys rate him but his footage all has him out in space kicking well but in uncontested scenarios. I like Laverde but surely we go with best available on talent and leadership maximum be rfig versus minimum risk. top 3 still very much Petracca, brayshaw and mcmartin with laverde the smoky.

He had faith in danger. A mate of mind caught up with rendell about a year ago and he had some fascinating opinions. Our club needs arrogance. It needs grunt. It needs confidence. It needs talent. It need above all else onfield leadership. therefore we will take Petracca and Brayshaw if saints take McMartin and if they take Petracca we may take Brayshaw and either Lever or Laverde. ive been told we really rate Lever. for the reasons stated above the Wrights and Picketts wont be on our radar.

Rendell was spot on re danger. i spent the morning watching highlights of the potential draftees as well as interviews, etc. Petracca's major assets to me seem to be strength and size for mine and may get exposed hen he goes from playing skinny kids to men. Brayshaw has to be a lock. Takes the game on and just creates. Underwhelmed by Wright and not sure about Lever who i hear is a lock for pick 3. Id take McMartin on the best player principle or Laverde just for sheer effort.

My personal belief is that right now we have the salary cap room and held the right picks to make a massive play for a few a graders. We will gave to develop our own now.
