  1. See ball, disregard own safety to get ball. A bull at the contest, just goes about it in the Viney fashion. His goal where he extracted it from the pack and just rolled it through was just from wanting it more. Also he is nearly impossible to knock over and has a knack for sneaking them through from angles. Tough little barstard, a little under appreciated but his inclusion with Bugg and what Oliver's been able to do is a big reason why we have turned it around to be number 1 for contested possessions this year.
  2. Should be going for Richmond because if we win were in the 8 but I still can't lol
  3. Well in all fairness even when Garland was asked how it felt to be back in the team he responded with "squeek" and just scurried back into a hole in a wall. I want to know what the hell is going on with Frost and why he was drafted as a backman, played well as a backman, we are short on key backman, yet we keep trying to turn him into something he is not! So bloody frustrating I'm sometimes tempted to use all caps!
  4. Oliver's in so we're sparred a temper tantrum until next Thursday night.
  5. We've selected the wrong team and the world's going to end on Saturday.
  6. Garland ugh.. Hopefully we dominate the centre clearances as there goes any drive out of the backline! Prove me wrong mouse please
  7. They even let short tempered half-wits post. We are blessed to be a part of this all inclusive community child
  8. I don't think anyone heard you the first 7,563 times you said that..
  9. Just the lazy 16 tackles hey? What are dream points?
  10. Technically he called him the next "toupas," so whilst the statement is nonsensical he is still a fl0g in spirit.
  11. Yeah I don't get it either. Was drafted as a replacement for Frawley dafuq we doing?
  12. His debut was so hyped anything short of dominance seemed lacklustre. I'm guilty of falling for the hype but still recognise it was a great first game for a debutante
  13. We ran out of legs, we were in the game until we couldn't keep up any more. They were running away from us at stoppages and it looked like we were stuck in the mud. We are a very young team playing fast paced footy, the 5 and a half day turnaround did us no favours. I lost some faith in the selection/fitness staff for failing to see or properly gauge our fitness/stamina levels properly through the the week. I'd be gauging the energy levels very closely this week, and not wedding myself to the notion that wholesale changes are necessary a bad thing- if fresher bodies are available. The sun's will come out hard next week and we are going to expend a lot of energy to keep up. Anyone under a fitness cloud must make way for a fresher body. I'd be seriously looking at resting players like Salem, Kent and Harmes and looking to bring in pace in M Jones, and stamina in ANB and even Grimes. The door is open for anyone who's banging loudly enough, I'd hate to see minimal changes for the sake of status quo and end up with the same result next weekend
  14. One player wouldn't have made much difference child, back in your box you go.
  15. Salem, Hunt, Harmes probably need a rest, maybe Kent too Out Salem, Hunt, Harmes, Kent In Oliver, Brayshaw, ANB, Grimes
  16. Any late change would surely be ANB. No fitness concerns, banging down the door, clearance machine, I could see him coming in if there's a late ommmision
  17. Is this a conclusion you could have come to without the hissy fit though child? I mean it's possible that the club has a little more intimate knowledge on how the players are tracking health wise than anyone on here. Sports science degrees or not:p
  18. A dummy for you probably seeing as you are always spitting yours out, child
  19. I wish you would give it a rest, carry on like a petulant child every Thursday night! Fwiw I am disappointed Oliver misses, but I now have faith that we know what we're doing.
  20. You don't push a talent like Jesse out the door.
  21. I'm sure he'll stay as it looks like he is really enjoying himself at the club, but if he did leave I don't think it would be as devastating as I thought it would have been at the start of the year. We've seen how important it is for everyone in the team to be playing good football- with our recent success and Jesse down on form, a team can do just as well perhaps even better with an even contribution as opposed to relying on one dominating forward. It's about getting the mix right and as it stands right now Jesse's importance lies in drawing the best defender each week, while the role players are free to do what they like.
  22. Lloyd's not a fan of the subtle pestering, he's more the line someone up and crush their spine when their head's over the ball kind of pest. Each to their own I guess. Maybe shut your mouth though fl0g.
  23. It's just too bloody hard. CP5 would be stiff after getting named and not playing, but M Jones, Trenners, ANB will also be stiff for their own reasons. My tip is 2 changes. On exposed form Jones is in. CP5 makes sense too because of the Saint factor. Out: Brayshaw, Salem, maybe Frost In: Jones, 1 or 2 out of 3 very deserving kids.
