It's just a gamble right now. If we make finals, he has a much improved chance of playing in them. It may flare up again duriung this time but again, thats' the gamble.

I don’t care what we pay for him. With Jones, Lewis and Vince in the twilight of their careers, we’ll need to get younger legs into the team now. Whilst he’s no Josh Kelly, Gaff is far superior to any other gut-running mids with above average skills and a very handy inside game. Must get it done.

With McGovern just signing for 5 years, surely the piggy bank must be emptying quickly at the Eagles... HAs to increase the likelihood that Gaff may leave.

Brayshaw won't leave. At the start of the year I thought he was trade bait, midway through the year I thought he was getting plenty of ball but being wasteful, rushed and turning it over badly. Now there's a level of composure and a familiar position to play in given he has regained confidence from his concussion issues. He's gonna be a jet and a must keep for our flag tilts.

He's been slugged with another $2K fine so I reckon his missus won't be in a rush to bu him a new golf driver for fathers day. Wonder if he'll challenge it?

Let's hope the pass mark Goodwin is seemingly giving him is part of the process in getting him out of his rut. Otherwise, he's accepting of mediocre efforts from a guy who has all the tools to be a very damaging player but unable to deploy them in tight games.

Petracca is in a rut. He had one good quarter against Port to mask his poor season thus far. The kid was pick 2 and highly rated due to his ‘freakish’ abilities. He’s in a rut relative to his development phase. I think we should all raise our expectations of Petracca.
