Collingwood nearly won a flag with worse injuries. Richmond have a load of key injuries and are still winning games. Injuries are hurting us, but getting demolished by opposition coaches and our insipid ball use is hurting us more, and that’s coaching.

First time the pressure has been on him and he nearly passed out at a press conference. He really isn’t coming thru as a coach I feel confident to push us thru this. Injuries happen. They’ve destroyed us, but we also came into the season with poor game plan planning and with no real structural move on from last season, despite rule changes and losing our key forward.

But instead we signed him for 3 more years. Because we are amateur fools.

Having watched him on tv the last couple of weeks (whereas I normally watch the game live), and he is just not going into contests. Refuses to bend, tackle, or raise his arms. Can’t break out of a jog. I am going to assume he is injured but not badly enough to give him a rest considering our injury list right now.

Yep. As the years have gone on I have become more and more detached. This club is such a disappointment it’s hard to keep caring. Lowest half time score by any team this season. Melbourne keeps breaking those wonderful records.

Of course. We are horrible in every aspect. But we have one clear advantage today which is the ruck. Gawn is dominating and he has to spend so much time down back. Imagine if Preuss could do some ducking and Gawn could be a forward target for all those useless high bombs?

Goodwin has a lot to answer for. Starting with selection. Another tall in Preuss to help Gawn and stretch their defense for example. Instead of another slow unskilled player.
