WA, much like Tassie, has a very big leg up in keeping their state Covid free. They only happen to have the most isolated city in the world. So good on them for their work, but if they had the proximity that the other states have to one another, or their population density, their situation would most likely be similar to that of QLD.

Completely agreed. WA made it very difficult for the AFL initially, while QLD has been more than accommodating (although don't get me started on their premier allowing AFL players and officials into the state, but not granting permission to people who need it for medical reasons.... she is an absolute [censored]). Besides nobody, and I mean nobody, wants to give WC a leg up.

I will never forget that loss. I was in China on a work trip and it was monsoon season. I watched on my iPad while the windows of the hotel shook. I also ate something dodgy during the game and was violently ill for the following 24 hours, which was fitting to how I felt about that game.
