I imagine today wouldn’t be compulsory as anyone not eligible for Casey is technically in their off season period and that time is pretty well controlled by the AFLPA. They can’t be made to do anything club related in this time. So anyone who did turn up did that obligation free which is really nice to see. Especially the older players who I’m sure are very keen for time off and to spend time with their neglected families.

Fritsch is super agile and quite quick. I think Yze’s issue is that he doesn’t have the speed and he’s an awkward height.

Commentators mentioned Gawn Tmac and Viney went to the rooms to check on Spargo. So they’re also there obviously. It’s nice to see the seniors cheering Casey on. Is Clarry there?

Fullarton looks much better down back than he does up forward. Not sure that’s enough to keep him on the list tho.

I would have liked to see him play when Viney was injured during the year. Also certainly could have been sub a few hundred times ahead of Sharp.

Poor Laurie getting 0 AFL games this year is crazy work. He’s been so so good all year for Casey. He really deserves to get a chance somewhere else.

Not just him. But perhaps they wanted to show him how far off he is and how serious he needs to get to make it. We invested a lot in him. Traded up and away to get his pick. He needs to come good.

You can’t convince me that Henderson was a better pick up than Yze could be. Really hope we rookie him. He is an awkward size but you can tell his footy IQ and kicking is elite. Could he not be a medium forward in the future?

Needs to get serious about his professionalism from what I’ve heard, if he does the sky is the limit. He’s definitely talented enough but has to build his tank so he can play midfield at AFL level.

I will be super disappointed if we delist Seatan. He has the sort of skills that are hard to find.
