Thank you! To blame the forwards is to ignore the real issue. The numbers above are North Melbourne level putrid. You will never win games when the midfield and half backs are dishing up this level of uncompetitive garbage. You could have the best forwards in the entire world, but if they are getting no service, what are they meant to do?

It’s curtains on 2024 for me if we get smashed by them next week.

Why has the senior side become a rehab facility? One of the issues for me is that we are carrying to many underdone players. Carrying Clarry and Petty is one thing, carrying players who aren’t proven best 22 players and who can’t run out a game or kick more than 30m (see for example Hunter with his busted calf getting a starting role ahead of Woey yet again), is not helping us. It just increases the load on other players.

I love this man, and I will support him leading this club to my death. He is a legend.

He’s a liability right now, and rightly so. Many players never recover from the injury he’s endured, but it’s time to give him some time at Casey to build some confidence and fitness. It’s doing him no good to go out each week and not be able to give anything to the team. It’s not thru lack of trying either. His body is clearly not up to AFL standards right now. JVR and Disco should play forward together for the next month while Petty goes to Casey and get some time just playing as a forward without pressure.

Early days, but a forward who can’t kick over 30m shouldn’t be playing at this level. Either his body is cooked, or his confidence is cooked.

I would bring Melksham in. Don’t worry about your knee, just deck Maynard and you can be subbed off and continue your rehab while you serve a suspension

It’s no secret that I’ve been pretty much dead inside when it comes to football since the last time we played this pile of dog [censored] club. I don’t even carry anger or disappointment when we lose anymore. I get over it fairly quickly and my passion for the game will probably never be the same again. Having said all that, I would take not winning another game for the rest of the year, so long as we obliterate this bunch of ****heads next week!

We were a dirty thug and poor goal kicking away from making a prelim last year. If you want to change the game plan you need to change the list. Can’t do it with the same list.

Who is willing to take a 10 week ban for knocking out Maynard? You’re in son.

In theory, communism works too. We have to play to our strengths. Speed, football IQ and skills is not it.

We have a better list than most of the top 8 sides. We came into this season with the best defense in the league over the last 4 years, and a midfield with like 10 AA jackets, two coaches awards, and a Norm Smith. Our list is certainly a LOT better than to lose by 90+ points to [censored] Fremantle!

I forgot what it feels like to be embarrassed by your football team.

Statistically diabolical performance. Probably a season killing game. Just win next week, I don’t really care about the season beyond that.

This season is dead to me. Just beat Collingwood and knock Maynard out next week, then go for draft picks 😂

I haven’t been embarrassed by a performance from this club for a long long time. I forgot how awful it feels.

A good team comes out and wins the last quarter. We look like we’ve come out with all the enthusiasm of a contestant in a children’s pageant.

This is not one game tho. We have been average all season. Other than Geelong, and maybe Port, who are both non contenders, what quality team have we beaten this season? We are playing like an average team, when we should be pushing for a flag.

For who?

Down 26 in contested possessions means our pressure is non existent. Plus down 16 in clearances and 9 in tackles. That is non competitive football. I didn’t think I would ever have to be embarrassed watching us play with this team. This is embarrassing.
