  1. Very possible. However if his manager is framing this as 'Clarry doesn't want to leave', which is absolutely what it sounds like, then how is that helping Clarry find a new home? My client wants to stay, is likely going to not want to come to your club, but please take his $1.3 million salary and the reluctance comes free. It's a weird move.
  2. Obviously not Trac. I said his team. If we are now dealing with trading not one but two of our highest paid / best mids, it puts us in a 'fire sale' mode, which indicates to clubs that we are in a rebuild and will accept unders just to have a clean slate for King. It absolutely puts more pressure on the club to get the deals done. Which helps the player who wants out.
  3. Hmmm is this a distraction tactic by Team Trac to leak this stuff to Morris? Clarry is committed to the club, and he won't care about a role change. If we want to sell him for 3 cents in the dollar, then it's going to be a long season next year of getting smacked in clearances.
  4. This is what it must feel like to be Tim Lamb sometimes Given one oar, and a leaky boat, and told to get us superstars at every trade period like he’s a magician.
  5. Geelong related. And it is a goddamn disgrace how frequently rape cases go unpunished.
  6. I think he means that for Judd to choose to move back to WA and put his relationship in jeopardy is a pretty bold choice. Long distance relationships are not easy, especially when you are young, and one of you plays AFL
  7. He and Trac will get along great then 😬
  8. Cheers Bella… I mean Tom.
  9. Sure, but compensation doesn’t take into account draft compromises The compensation is based on the value of the new contract a player gets. For us to get an end of second round pick for Charlie, means he’s getting a decent deal at North.
  10. Must be getting a very good deal at North. Good for him!
  11. Well who didn’t see this story arc coming… Trac the victim again If you can’t see how damaging he has been to our club for 18 months, then I don’t know what to tell you.
  12. Didn’t harm our premiership tilt. May is not the devil. Yes he has his issues, but he’s a 250 game AA premiership defender. And ex captain. People are talking about him like he’s ruined our club. North are trash. They’ve been a bottom side for years and years, and they need to get better and do it soon. May makes their E grade defense immediately better. And will come at next to no cost. Bernie Vince was not a poster boy either, but he served a very important role in a team that needed his type.
  13. I don’t think you want to know
  14. Hmmm maybe they can up their offer to Wilkie coz Flanders isn’t going there… or has Ross the Boss found a farm?
  15. Prior to injury he was a very very good small one on one defender. He did some remarkable jobs on the likes of Charlie Cameron. He is a very talented defender, who seems to want the easy attacking role. Apparently being a lock down defender isn’t glamorous enough for him. He wants to play Bowey’s role, despite being a far worse ball user than Bowey and Salem. But hey, he’s Judd McVee and apparently he has earnt the right to demand a role in a sinking ship, after a very mediocre season ruined by a bad hamstring 🙄
  16. But are overpaying Caleb Daniel 🫠
  17. For the first time ever I would be all in on someone requesting a trade to Freo. Welcome home Jacko.
  18. Jeremy Cameron is sick of Geelong, and is coming to the Dees. Straight swap for Shane McAdams Happy?
  19. How often does a quality player like Petracca with 4 years left on his contract get traded? You want 2 good picks, but good picks in this draft are top 6-8, and Adelaide is not getting that. And banking on them to flop next year, is risky.
  20. Nobody hates Melbourne more than Melbourne fans.
  21. Ah yes we are a sinking ship, and Freo is the poster child for success. Wonder if Judd thought we were a sinking ship when we gave him his chance as a rookie, while Freo completely ignored him as he played under their nose. Good luck to him, and I guess you too, going by the fact that you seem to be a Judd supporter and not a Melbourne supporter.
  22. Well Salem is a 30 year old with a suspect body, and Bowey can play in other spots. We plucked this kid as a rookie during Covid. We gave him a lifeline. We made him a great player. He was asked to play a position that helped the team while we battled injuries, and he too battled injuries. To say we wasted 18 months of his career is a joke. If he wanted to leave last year while contracted, we could have at least got a fair deal for him in a strong draft, but no, he chose for his contract to expire and then nominate a club, so we get screwed. In a team sport, if you are having a sook about your role, and you are a 22 year old who has achieved very little, you need to reassess your ego. Considering you have posted on here about nothing but McVee, and admitted you have a third hand connection to him, I understand your desire to defend him. But let's call a spade a spade here, he's leaving because he thinks the grass at Freo is greener.
