Agreed. And the problem remains that I still need to watch Frost be the world’s dumbest footballer on Saturday. To me Preuss needs to get his fitness sorted before he goes near the AFL. His role is to help Max have a rest, not have Max carry him around.

I don’t mind the idea of him rucking which is why I said that if he could, he would add some value to the team. However he clearly can’t ruck or I’m sure the footy department would have given it a go over summer. If they prefer to play our best forward and his bum foot in the ruck over Frost, it says to me that they aren’t interested in Frost’s rucking abilities or lack there of.

Brad Scott is a different cattle of fish. Beating his team in finals was one of the sweeter moments of life thus far. I hate the dirty [censored] and I hope Gawn gets a free kick every time a Geelong player goes near him, just so I can see Scott explode in the box.

Jesus, most people wouldn't go to their desk job after that, let alone play AFL in 32 degree heat while getting constantly smashed behind play. No wonder he could barely move. And no wonder we lost. His lack of influence in the ruck and around the ground had a massive impact on our midfield's ability to win clean ball. No Gawn no Melbourne. The fact that we chose to play him, and play him solo, says a lot more about Pruess than it does Gawn.

If you are in hospital, your condition isn’t “mild”. If you are in hospital then play footy a few days, you are not 100% at your best.

Agreed. We parked 20 mins away and walked. Melbourne’s public transport is borderline third world.
