Agreed. If we get 5000 neutral fans there and 30 club supporters, I’m sure the players would rather do it at the MCG. It’s a completely unnecessary reshuffle. I guess let’s see what the crowd is at the game today. I doubt it will be better next week, even if it is a public holiday.

Brisbane would not have got clearance to come to Victoria and then return to Brisbane so it’s a moot point.

I like being underdogs. It suits us and I think with Neale in and Langdon out it makes sense the betting is in their favour. They are on a 7 game streak. We are on one.

50,000 is way more than you’d get in Sydney and the same if not more than what you would get in SA.

I don’t think they will debut a kid as a sub with zero fanfare. Never happened before. Bedford the sub for me given it’s our Indigenous round.

Probably our toughest assignment to date. Richmond and Dogs were big games but played on grounds we are comfortable and familiar with. This is a different ball game. I rate Brisbane as our equal. They are strong all over the field unlike the Dogs and can kick big scores. I’m not super confident and wouldn’t be surprised if we drop this one. Should we lose, we will be pretty much back in the pack for top 4. Saving grace is Geelong play Port in Adelaide (probably) next week. One thing is for sure, this should be a good game.

With Sparrow in we are one inside mid too heavy. Clearly the plan is to push one of the inside mids to the wing. If it wasn’t they would have brought in Baker. My guess is Harmes on the wing in a run with role on McLuggage or JJ.

Not if they push our game to the following Saturday night. MCG is free. Only other game is GWS vs Carlton (who gives a crap?) and both teams play the following Saturday in Victoria so a decent break.

You’re right. 14 days in quarantine in hotel then 14 days quarantine at home with 24 hour monitoring.

We either need better quarantine facilities or we need quarantine to be 28 days. So two full incubation periods.

I would really hope that in light of these two false positives that the AFL pauses for a moment. I would hate to miss out on this game being at the G. I’m sure both clubs would be happy to push it out a week (we both play in Victoria the following week) and play it even with 50% capacity. I understand we need to give people time to buy tickets and also sort out the ground arrangements, but I would hate for the AFL to make this decision tomorrow and next Thursday we are told 50% capacity at footy is allowed (outdoors, with masks, need to register for your tickets etc... and it’s been proven that even with positive cases nobody transmitted the virus at the footy).

Because whenever one of our guys does a foot or leg related injury it’s immediately a 4-6 injury that turns into 12 weeks. Aka The Viney. And why did one of our most important players have to miss this game of all games? Couldn’t wait one more week? ?

Sure but either let the teams play or get stuffed. They are being so over the top it’s actually quite ridiculous. I do not want us playing in SA if that’s how we will get treated. Sydney or WA will do me fine. WA has done a great job selling out dream time.

Nor do SA deserve the game. They are carrying on like absolute pork chops to an outbreak they caused.
