Not sure why everyone is giving Port no chance. It is their home ground, and Geelong might be super flat after last week. They are also likely to blow up in the last quarter with all the old legs and no pre-finals bye. I give Port a massive chance, and frankly I prefer they win, as I think we are more chance to beat them than Geelong.

Hahaha I am sure Freo have come calling and we have been screening their calls. Absolutely zero chance we are trading Jackson, especially while he is in contract. Even if he was homesick, and there is zero indication to suggest he is, we would back ourselves to keep him.

Nathan's wife just posted a video showing Nathan leaving to go into the finals hub. So he must at least be in strong contention to play, because realistically he is leaving behind two kids and a heavily pregnant wife carrying twins. I doubt the club would make him do that if they didn't plan on playing him, even as just the sub come grand final day. Goodwin and co don't strike me as the type of coaches to string a player along or at the very least give them a really strong understanding of where they're at.

If Oliver doesn't finish top 3 it will confirm once and for all that umpires have NFI and should not be allowed to vote on such an individual honour.

It’s absolutely not about individual awards, but recognition of individual players who have worked so hard all year to help make their team better is always nice. I’m especially proud of May. He’s 29 and he’s really brought himself into this position the last two year by sheer hard work. Well done!
