  1. I am not saying we do it, I am saying that we threaten to do it and tell Jackson that WA is his home, Freo is not his home. He doesn't get to choose a goddamn club after 3 years in the system where we gave him absolutely everything, including a flag! I do not want us being bent over. I think we need to make it clear that we will facilitate a trade to WA, and will deal with whoever gives us the best deal. If that's West Coast, then tough [censored]. He has no right to screw us, and equally to your question, how many young up and coming stars have screwed over their club recently? Very few. Most will want to facilitate a good outcome for the club that gave them so much and invested a lot in them. Jackson is not leaving on bad terms. He should have no motivation to hurt the club that gave him so much. He can say he wants to get to Freo, but equally understands that the club needs to get back the investment it has made in him and secure a good deal. Doubt he wants to play against a [censored] off Jack Viney for the next 5 years.
  2. Jackson has not a single goddamn right to nominate a club. Wasn't he a West Coast fan growing up? Wasn't NicNat his hero? How about he goes to West Coast and learns how to be an overweight ruckman from the most overrated player in the game. He can teach him how to have commentators falling over themselves when he has 3 possessions. And he can enjoy the pressure of living in WA and being a highly paid 'messiah'. That never went wrong for anyone.
  3. If North pass on Jackson they might as well just fold. Like seriously they can't be that bad at football!
  4. I highly doubt these contracts are related. Gus will be given what he is worth and what we can afford, regardless of Jackson. If Jackson goes we need to find money to get another ready made ruck to help Gawn, unless we want to send Gawn to an early grave.
  5. This kills me. Freo enquired about Jackson and we rightly said bugger off. If Jackson had said to us look I am probably heading home at the end of this contract, then of course you make that deal happen because it's actually a win win and a fair deal all around. Cerra is a gun and would make us a better side. To do it this year when Freo has bugger all to give us in terms of picks, is just infuriating!
  6. Correct. North won't finish above West Coast, and they also have all the money in the world, so even if Jackson puts a price on his head they can pay it. They certainly have more cap space than Freo!
  7. Another unnecessary distraction. Surely Gus knows what he wants to do by now. Really frustrating, and frankly I am getting fed up with players who have it all, playing for a well run club, with a chance to win more flags, and still stuffing about with contracts. This is what makes Clarry that extra special. He could literally go to any club, get paid a million dollar a year or more (probably 10 million a year at North), but instead he signed a year out to avoid any sort of rubbish conversations about his contract. Get on with it Gus!
  8. If Oliver is out, it will continue the long tradition of Geelong players doing whatever bodily harm they please to our players with zero consequences. I could scream with rage at how much I despise that club!
  9. If Jackson wants to go home, that's WA. I have zero interest in helping him get to Freo, because after 3 years at the club, where we made him a rising star, premiership player and worthy of a million dollar contract, we frankly owe him absolutely nothing. We certainly don't owe making him a premiership player at Freo, who is our direct competitor. We have done nothing but right by him, and if he chooses to screw us on the way out (and yes that is a big if), then I hope we play hardball and make him go to West Coast or he can end up at North. Our club can't afford to stuff around during this premiership window, as it might not come around again for a long long time.
  10. Except that we cannot afford to drop more games, especially against Port which is probably the 'easiest' game we have left for the year. You drop Fritta, you make a statement, but you also don't win the game, because you take away easily our best forward.
  11. If true, I have lost a lot of respect for Jackson.
  12. Yep. I wish him lifelong knee issues. And endless diarrhea
  13. All I want in life is to never play down in Geelong again and have someone break Selwood’s kneecaps. I despise that player more than any other ever. Absolute cheat scumbag and a bog ordinary footballer to boot. The less said about our pathetic display at football tonight the better. I am too angry. Off to bed.
  14. We are not as good as last year. It’s going to be almost impossible to win.
  15. Such a predictable garbage ball movement from the half back. Kick long to a pack. Nobody marks. Geelong runs away with it. It’s pathetic. These old [censored] have made us look so second rate tonight
  16. Gawn came back way too early. Hurt us tonight. Been uncompetitive.
  17. Putrid. Absolutely fuming. Not [censored] good enough and I’m so sick of playing this dump of a ground. Disgusting.
  18. This dirty hippie [censored] GOD I HATE THIS TEAM. I HATE THEM!!!!
  19. Selwood is legitimately my most hated player ever. Absolute cheat and thug. I hope someone breaks his knee.
  20. Embarrassing display.
  21. It all comes down to the midfield. If Trac, Oliver, Viney and Gawn can’t run over the top here, the game is done.
  22. Really? How is this necessary
  23. LEARN TO USE THE FOOTBALL
  24. Can’t see us coming back from this. Disappointing display. We look flat, we can’t win the footy at ground level or in packs or in the air. They’re all over us.
  25. Pretty poor showing given this is an 8 point game. We have not turned up.
