  1. MCC lining up for walk up seats I think.
  2. I’ve been staring at the same 3 pages of a catalogue I have to proof for an hour
  3. My condolences. My grandma is also on her deathbed. It's a very tough time for a family to go through! I'm sure she'll be cheering on Davey, I mean Pickett, and he will have a great game!
  4. @Bitter but optimistic this is just what this thread needed. Calming dog energy Bear is pumped. Magpies are his favourite bird to bark at! He was getting his voice warmed up this morning to cheer on the Dees
  5. If the rain comes and then goes fast, and the deck looks like it'll be dry, do we make a late change and bring Tomlinson in?
  6. This is the sausage talk all over again
  7. Well I'm row A, so good luck to me

  11. One painful meeting down. One to go. I am going to murder the next annoying colleague who asks me to fix a [censored] up. I DON'T HAVE THE PATIENCE TODAY, DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING LATER TONIGHT?!!
  12. Great, now I can't even blame allergies if my eyes water tonight.
  13. He just had all the emotions right
  14. Me before bed last night Me trying to sleep and not dream about losing Me this morning
  15. It’s the same person who films the goal line vision then rewinds and zooms it in on their VCR.
  16. Oh thank god we avoided Williamson and Nicholls. Two Melbourne hating nuffies!
  17. We don’t need JVR, McDonald, Fritsch and Smith forward. Especially if Trac plays forward too. I really think Smith will play back.
  18. Yes he’s a very good mark. On the lead. He needs a good leading defender. Not a tall who can’t run. May is exceptionally good on the lead for his size which is why he played on him before when McStay wasn’t in the team. My guess is that Hibbo will start on him and McVee will go to Elliot. Back up option is throw Smith back, Hibbo to Elliot and Lever to Mihocek. Gawn can float back to help nullify Cox/Cameron. If it’s wet it just helps us with ground level ball, which is our biggest issue in defense. May will take McStay
  19. The experience in this side cannot be underestimated. This is an enormous game. Crowd noise will be off the chart. Hot footy. A massive advantage of a home prelim for the winner. We have gone for a very experienced side who has played a lot of finals together. Backline is looking far more experienced now with 6 premiership defenders. Midfield is entirely made up of premiership players, including Hunter, and only the forwardline is “inexperienced” with JVR, Chin and Smith. But Smith has been around a long time and played in 2018.
  20. Even more difficult if Gawn is next to him
  21. Mihocek is nothing like Walker! I am not saying Rivers will play on him, I’m just saying the height difference isn’t that big and he isn’t a “tall”, just like Fritsch isn’t a tall. Mihocek averages 1.2 contested marks a game. He is a leading forward not a tall marking forward. He needs someone who can go with him on the lead rather than in the air. Hibbo could certainly play on him. And hey if Rivers goes to him he’d need to be accountable the other way. Much like if Fritsch plays on Moore.
  22. There is one thing nobody has mentioned, which is that Gawn could well play behind the ball. We haven’t seen this in a while but we know how good it can be…
