  1. How long have you been posting here? I don't think very long, unless you are a banned poster posting under a new name... Either way, if you really think this about Demonland, you obviously are new. This is where negativity thrives. But forgive those of us who look at us sitting pretty in second spot with 3 rounds left of the H&A season, after a flag in 2021, and a top 2 finish in 2022, not wanting to take a steaming [censored] on the club right now. It's always so easy to be negative, and nothing is EVER as good or as bad as it seems in footy. Things changes so quickly, just ask Pies and Blues fans. But right now, if you can't see any positive things about where the club is at, then I just feel really sad for you. I for one want to enjoy this rare moment in time where we are an actual serious contender, rather than constantly looking over my shoulder at the black hatted negative nellie behind me.
  2. So we gave him a contract extension so we can delist him?
  3. I love that your changed your name. Brutal.
  4. He is one to two hundred burgers short of a run in the seniors. Needs a good pre season to be a chance to get a game next year IMO. Could still be two seasons away. Developing nicely and should stay on this path. JVR was far more physically ready last year and still didn’t play when everyone else was slowly dying. I reckon Jefferson is far less likely to been seen in 2023.
  5. I don’t think he came across as rude at all. To me he came across as someone who thinks he’s been right to play for weeks and been told no by the club, so is saying I don’t know if I’ll play as he knows the decision is ultimately not his to make. Bit of a dig at the power above I’d say. It’s why he mentioned needing to get through training because he’s obviously been told that’s a non negotiable. It’s also why I think he was playing around at training pretending like he hurt his hammy. He’s clearly just a frustrated player who has been told no too often for his own liking recently and can’t handle it. It is, after all, his first ever serious injury. He came across as annoyed and incoherent. As for not stopping for the media, I think that would have been more rude and caused more panic. “Oh Clarry is refusing to answer questions about his recovery. What’s he hiding?!!!” I think ultimately the media should know he’s not going to give them what they want, which is a clear coherent well spoken discussion about a topic. Go to Trac, Lever or Gawn for that. Not Clarry 😂 And by the way, given the rubbish that’s been aimed at him and the club from mainstream and social media during this hamstring saga, I reckon he has every right to flip everyone off. He is after all a drug trafficker 🙄
  6. Carlton are a massive chance in this game and to think otherwise is foolish. They’re in great form and ticking off all the key matrix of a serious contender. I think we should and will beat them if we bring our best. It’s round 22 and everything is on the line, including a home final. If we can beat them in and around the contest, and I’m confident that we can, as well as close down their ball movement from half back, the points are ours.
  7. And there is an even bigger level of irony that you, of all people, are taking this poor media performance to heart instead of listening to what Goodwin and Richo have both said this week. You’re the first person to call fugazi on literally anything, but Clarry having a poor day communicating on camera is worrying you?
  8. My mental health and his hamstring
  9. A lot of fugazi going on here. And way too much being made of a nothing interview from a guy who can’t string two coherent words together. Train tomorrow. Play Saturday.
  10. When people say Pies have years of dominance in them…. 🤷‍♀️
  11. It didn’t come across as arrogance to me. He seemed uncomfortable and like he doesn’t want to jinx it or discuss it. He also has no media nous at all. He gives weird half answers. It’s how he’s always been.
  12. Lucky you said he can’t be a forward anyway
  13. He said he doesn’t want to get ahead of himself as he’s had too many let downs already. I think it’s his own defense mechanism that he doesn’t want to be disappointed in case something goes wrong. But he also said he’s feeling confident in the hamstring. He will play.
  14. Obviously you don’t know Clarry. The man has all the media nous of a turkey. I love him but god he is not Shakespeare is he? Club said he will play if he gets through training. That has come from both Goody and Richo. So baring another disaster he plays this weekend.
  15. I hope medical science and treatments have come a long way since and Lisfranc is no longer the footballing death sentence it once was. Hey @Webber?
  16. Meantime Murphy’s injury at the Pies has gone from 3 weeks to 0 weeks. What is this magical luck? 😭
  17. May needs to start producing some offspring. His dogs unfortunately don’t count. Cute as they are.
  18. First order of business is to change the league’s name to the Dangerfield Football League. All games will no longer be played on a football field but rather on a Dangerfield. Also Dangerfield is supreme leader and chancellor and Geelong is to play 24 games a year in Geelong plus the Grand Final where only Geelong fans and avid Geelong supporting umpires are allowed.
  19. Not to jinx it, but I assume DA is preparing an amazing banner for Maxy for round 23 @WalkingCivilWar... I repeat, no jinx!
  20. This thread has bad juju. Please close.
  21. If Tmac can pull a rabbit out of the hat it would be a much needed miracle. Like Melksham, Petty’s bad luck could be Tom’s golden ticket to a second flag and more than likely his last opportunity. That is perhaps all the motivation he needs to push through and bring back the Tmac of old for the last month of the season. That’s all we need. 4 good games.
  22. Yep it’s not just a worry for this year but it’s the sort of injury that can really hamper you for a long long time. Hopefully by managing it well now, it’ll have a better long term outcome for us. The endless list of injuries this seasons can get in the bin!
  23. [censored] [censored] [censored] [censored] Please never play that dump of a ground ever again 😡😡😡😡😡😡
  24. Communication from the club re: injuries this season has been putrid Except for when Gawn went down and the internet went into meltdown and we got an update on a Sunday.
  25. Carlton you could definitely argue are in better form. But why are Sydney in better form? They’ve won 4 in a row. We’ve won 5. Of their 4 victories they beat: GWS (excellent win against arguably the best in form team) Essendon by 2 points - the same Essendon who nearly lost to West Coast Freo who are bottom 4 Dogs who are up and down and can’t play away from Marvel Their form is not bad and they’re definitely building nicely. Round 24 is make or break for them and will be super tough. We also don’t have great form at the SCG. But IMO we are still in better form. And Oliver back changes everything.
