Ok thanks. It's telling me now the M34 has no tickets left. Might have to get them through the Demon Army which will make @WalkingCivilWar happy ๐Ÿ˜„
  2. His leg of speed is ultimately the issue. He is a meat and potatoes midfielder who will go on to have a good career in a midfield that needs pure inside extractors. Unfortunately at Melbourne he is competing with A+ inside extractors like Clarry and Viney, and he is a C+ player. He also doesn't have the speed or kicking penetration of Sparrow, who is extremely underrated for what he brings to us. Injuries have opened the door for him, but unfortunately he hasn't done anything to suggest that we should tweak our first choice set up to accommodate him. JVR and McVee have both been able to dislodge senior players to stay in the side. Unfortunately JJ just hasn't done enough. I like him and he would be great depth, but it's completely understandable if he wants to be more than that elsewhere, just as it is completely understandable that he can't be a first choice midfielder for us right now.

Thanks. I paid $15 last week against the Tigers for M32. Strange. Do you know if they'll release more tickets in M36-M29? Or is M34 the only level 1 likely to be available?
  4. Burgoyne retiring really hit hard.
  5. Heโ€™s 36. Calf injuries are never good at that age.
  6. Zorko is an eye gouging little [censored]. Him complaining that someone did him wrong on the field is both ironic and hilarious. I wish him and his tiny balls all the best going forward. Thoughts and prayers are with his wife.
  7. You didnโ€™t watch the first half of the Hawks game?
  8. I learnt the hard way not to believe Goodwin when he tells me Oliver should be right in week x ๐Ÿ˜‚
  9. Poor Oliver. But I agree. A freak.
  10. And Portโ€ฆ ๐ŸคŒ
  11. Sparrow my underrated king!
  12. Touk deserves 12 votes. 10 for his game, and 2 for grabbing Zorko by his teeny tiny balls.
  13. At 32 and having missed 5 games Gawn > the rest
  14. Yep. Trying to dodge not one but two players going into concussion protocol. Putting Aliir back on and subbing Jones out with a โ€œmigraineโ€. It is as deliberate as it gets. And all to win a bloody Showdown. Pathetic!
  15. Did Mark Fisher get his medical license on Saturday post game? ๐Ÿ™„
  16. A disgraceful situation. If the AFL only hands them a fine, then this doesnโ€™t deter a team in a prelim ignoring protocol to allow their star player to get up and play in a Grand Final. Most clubs would risk the fine. Hence why the AFL has to come down hard and make them lose premiership points. This is one of the most negligible acts Iโ€™ve seen from a footy club. Disgraceful to put him back on the field with a โ€œmigraineโ€. Imagine he cops another hit and never recover! Imagine his loved ones watching on. His limp body hit the ground and he was deemed fine to return to play without so much as a proper assessment. Screams desperation from PA, or just bad medical care. Either way, itโ€™s awful. Players are copping suspensions for accidental head contact. A club that deliberately allows players to play with a head injury deserve serious punishment. This is exactly the sort of stuff that will land the AFL in court again and again.
  17. If I hear one more โ€œpunditโ€ tell me Tim English is the best ruckman in the game I will spew. Show me the AA jackets and the premiership medal and Iโ€™ll show you where Tim English ainโ€™t.
  18. Always a Melbourne supporter deep down was Buddy
  19. Buddy saw Pettyโ€™s game yesterday and decided to retire I canโ€™t keep up with this star he was heard saying
  20. Panic Alert: David King has us second in line for the flag. We are stuffed.
  21. A sad way to end a magnificent career. A generational champion and one of the best modern day forwards. On a selfish note, this is very good for us as we wonโ€™t have to deal with the emotions of the Buddy farewell in round 24
  22. 71-45 inside 50s is what killed them.
  23. The thought of barracking for Geelong this week makes me physically ill. What a conflict of interest this game has become!
  24. Let Melksham break the news...
  25. This week is probably the last week we have left to tweak and play around with a few things . Also probably the last week to bring in a debutant. With Spargo in poor form, and us needing a little more pressure players inside 50 to allow Kosi to play higher up the ground, do we debut AWM, who had a ripper game at Casey? Could replace Woey Jnr, and still allows us to bring Sparrow in for either JJ or Harmes.
