  1. The wrist slashing is amazing and unfortunately predictable on Demonlogy. Lost Lever = massive team balance issues. Our hardness yesterday especially the first Qtr I have not seen in a MFC team for long time if not ever. Viney getting back to his best, Melksham working through being tagged, Tyson in didn’t work so let’s now try Garlett in? Other opportunities? Port will not have so many things fall there way at the MCG.
  2. In addition, a large percentage of those 910k viewers would be from a non footy demographic. Hence exposing the club to new potential members & sponsors especially if/when they looked at the ladder and observed we were ‘up there’.
  3. So true! This also gives us the flexibility to ease Viney back in without unrealistic expectations for someone returning from a career threatening injury.
  4. Thanks Demonland. Had to google GHR = Glute-Ham Raise. Here an example of the technique Harrison is aspiring to (with some nice scenery thrown in!)
  5. Now he is home & surrounded by his support group, real chance he may really start to grow. Love it. Hope! It sells!!!!
  6. Nothing new but getting there! Balic poised to become a Dee Midfielder Harley Balic looks likely to head home to Victoria. Fremantle midfielder Harley Balic is expected to land at Melbourne before Thursday's trade deadline. Balic wants to come home, having battled personal issues across his two years at the Dockers. "We're hoping to get a deal done with Melbourne in the next 12-24 hours," his manager Matt Bain told NAB AFL Trade Radio. "I think they're waiting to see what happened with Jack Watts and what picks they have available for Freo." Balic, 20, has played four AFL games but missed most of this season when he returned to his family in Victoria to deal with reported homesickness and anxiety issues. He struggled in his first year in the AFL system because of wrist surgery to repair an injury he sustained as a junior that had failed to heal properly. Bain expects the deal to just involve draft picks.
  7. Sorry for the late reply AF, hope this link works https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10154365178746580&set=gm.10155848264773797&type=3&theater
  8. Moment before OMac gets the ball. A tackle would have been too late. The guy is a gun and we're worried about tackles????
  9. I'd rather be in appreciation mode. One of the best backmen we have had for 20 years!
  10. And the 'kids' can learn & develop in the 2's, where they have less limelight & pressure.
  11. Wagner & Smith have shown 'promise'. By upgrading them we can have a go at some more 'speculative potentials' that Jason Taylor and co have had such a reasonable success with so far.
  12. I agree. In addition, the track record of the Melbourne recruiting team over past few years has been to just 'get the deal done'. It has worked. Just look at the other clubs out there arsing around & some haven't done anything at all?????

Agree DV8. There was something not quite right with both the timing and wording of Plapp's statement( It was more suited to after the VFL GF). Does Goodwin want someone else coaching Casey?

  15. Happy 20th birthday Billy Stretch! Love the way your progressing
  16. Action creates Action. The list has to change. We need more depth. Goodwin and McCartney have seen something and its their informed opinion that counts. Good, deal done. Next..........
