We’re hitting finals like a freight train, I’m pumped

I will add that I was also confident in 21 and watching the footy is hard. I get really nervous and anxious. This finals series is going to really test me. Breathe Roost It!

My preference is watching the game on valium.

If true, why is this? Why do our opponents regularly bring their best pressure against us?

Arguing that “they know pressure is our weakness” is silly because pressure is every side’s weakness. Sides would bring elite pressure all 23 weeks if they could. But for most, they can’t.

But why us? Do we invite it somehow? Does the stat go up because we fumble and they get another point for a repeat tackle or something? Is it up because ours is down? (I don’t think it’s this because our pressure was high last week v Port). Do they just view us as a massive threat and gee themselves up for us - the whole “hunter vs hunted” mentality? Is it just plain bad luck?

This is definetly a thing in my eyes - all teams really set themselves to play us.
We on the other hand, dont often find ways to win easily - need some dominent fwds for that.

  3. With the excess of medium defenders, wld love them to trial Bowie at half fwd to see if we can use his foot skills / decision making.

All the other small fwds have really dropped off in form the last month or so.

Chin back to Casey. Kossie and Spargs on thin ice.

  4. We lost that in front of goal.

Had the better of gen. play bu we fluffed a good number of opportunities. That also gave them confidence which gave them a boost

We have been great in front of goal this year, but not today. Cost us the game.

  5. Wish we were going in with another key back tonight.
We were exposed in defence v Essendon and Nth will look to do the same.

Gawn dropping back is great but Grundy is a liability in the marking contest.

I guess Schache can go back but that would throw all fwd structure out.

  6. I'd keep JJ in, what he doesn't have in burst leg speed is made up with Kossie in the midfield.

Sparrow as sub (unlucky) and if well on top look to bring him in end of the 3rd qrt for Clarry or Trac. Or look to bring Sparrow in a way to reduce mins for Trac and Clarrie.
