Delistings/trades at end of the season
You've dismissed my view on the basis that stats are meaningless and you've watched many Eagles matches, but provide nothing real to support your view that NicNat is now elite. If he doesn't much mark the ball (avg 1.27) despite being 201cm and having a great leap, if he doesn't get many possessions (disp avg 12), what does he do that makes him elite? He gets nearly 4 tackles per game, which is reasonable but not great. I acknowledge his tap work is very good and much of his 1%ers are also very good. He also has excellent speed and a fabulous highlight reel. But being a very good tap ruck who runs around a lot doing 1%ers does not make him elite. He might become elite, but IMO he is not currently elite .

No he's not. Not yet. Good tap ruck, athletic, good with 1%ers. Averaging just over 1 mark this year and 12 disp. He's improved his ruck work dramatically, but he's not elite.

He still takes very few marks, not many kicks or handballs. Averaging just over one mark per game and 12 disp this year. Good tap ruck though, good pressure work.

If Geelong don't get Danger, it leaves them cap space to go after another gun mid. Maybe Prestia and/or Treloar.

Can never have enough quality midfielders, lord knows we've never had anywhere near enough in the last decade. Prestia, Selwood, Motlop, Danger, Treloar....... go hard at them all and if we win another 3-4 games the MFC might just look like a tempting destination for a couple.

Think Prestia might command Howe and first rounder, but hope you are right SPR. Whatever it takes. Now where have I heard that before?........

Who GAF if Prestia's B+, A or A+. Really... We need quality mids badly, and have for years. If he comes to Melbourne I'll be ecstatic.- The No T$ No B$ Thread
Earl, I saw Biff in a drunken stupor on the footpaths of Smith St last night. His vomit would have resembled a seafood paela, so it's quite possible you saw him at the Robbie Burns earlier. I know because I had a few ales at the Tote and witnessed through the window of the front bar the public nuisance that is our Biffen. Of course, I kept my head low. I did but see him passing by, but I avoid him till the day I die.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Prefer Smith or Gorringe in that deal with Prestia. We need another ruck and key forward.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

If he's going to use an unsafe workplace clause to get away from GCS I'd be more worried about a stack of our guys doing the same to us after the tripe we've seen over the years. Unsafe, unloved and unco.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
Could there be a more apt surname in the AFL? The guy is a terrible kick.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Leaves Treloar as the last of the GWS gun mids to sign. We are fast running out of options to land a big name mid for next year- The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan

Would rather Pedo in than Dawes, assuming he's fit. Pedo can mark the ball, which should be a non negotiable for a key forward. Fitzy needs to play back as well. We get shown up for lack of height and speed out of defence. As bad as his kicking is, Fitzy would've been very useful on Danners.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
Good point adam.
