Hawks will come out hard. We just have to "cope" for 2 1/2 quartrs then put the foot down.
MFCSS is through the roof.

You don't mind when games are decided by objectively incorrect umpiring calls?
Only against Melbourne. Like last week.

Well I am just happy Geelong lost and will not make the 8. Excellent.
As for peeing and moaning about the Adelaide goal I am glad they lost. Their supporters are an incredible pack of [censored] and they can rot down the bottem end of the ladder for ever.

I hate carlton. The only good finish to the year for them is to win next week and finish 5th which will be 10 wins in a row then lose the elim by a point. That would provide me with a great laugh.

Back in the 70s I used to go to every game and sit or stand in the cheer squad. Screamed my guts out and lost my voice every week. You would just roll up and join in the fun.
Now I’m old and I have seats in the Legends near the MCC with the upper class.
My teenage boys look enviously at the colour and noise coming from the cheer squad and beg me to sit there.
So at our last home game I made my way down, but all the seats were reserved and we had to sneak some seats about 20 rows behind (which was actually still a lot of fun)
So anyway, my question is… Is there some way to sit in the cheer squad these days if you don’t have a reserved cheer squad seat ?
Yep bay 17. Still remember the grog squad who sat at the back of the cheer squad.

Harder for GC against Carlton with King out.
I thaught it might have been easier with McKay playing.
Go GC.

He sits alongside Robbie Flower as the greatest player for the MFC.

All I know is that port will win their last 2. Not sure about brissy. I don't think the filth will be tuned up for the brissy game as they have 1st spot sown up. Also it is at marvel. 4th or 5th for us. If it is 5th then I will be on the hard stuff.
Lets go out and beat Hawthorn. We can then relax.

This talk of Smith either forward or backward is niether here nor there. It is our forward line that matters the most and I think Smith is best placed to replace Petty.

Tragic to hear the terrible news about Jeff Hilton. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends, both the Saints and the Demons as well as all who knew him. 😔
He was a definitely someone I remember with his number 22# jumper when he was playing for the Demons during our finals run in 1994. Him and Demons teammate Paul Hopgood used to look very similar with the long flowing blonde hair running around.
Sad news indeed. Used to always get him mixed up with Hopgood.

I would love to see the suns continue with their excellent SCG form against the swans. Don't need to face them on that constipated oval if they can clinch a spot in the 8 in the last round.

Got the usual MFCSS.
Why does Grundy playing worry me ?
To beat carlton will put a real dampener on them for the rest of the year. That would be a real bonus.

What an absolute croc of ......

This injury is a real downtrodder. The combo of Petty and JVR seemed to be a workable solution. Forget about Grundy playing in the forward line. It is not his role in life.

if we are 3rd before the last round. on track to play Port away in finals
do we tank the last round?
What for ? Go and beat em on their own dunghill.

I actually differ to a lot of you in that I would see us finish 3rd and play port over there. It would give great pleasure to beat the S.A. filth on their own [censored]. Then we beat whoever in prelim and play the filth in the granny and win by a point.
I need a cold shower.

Speaking of whining tiger supporters what about baltas goal in the last. Didn't he touch the behind post when he had the ball in his hands a moment before he kicked the goal. I am not 100% sure but is that out of bounds.
