  1. Google it or somebody may post the link . Incidentally , i'm a bit pizzed-off I couldn't edit the obvious typo in the title with the "edit" function .
  2. "The Age" online this afternoon reports that out-of-contract Melksham wants to depart Essendoom and the Dees are interested . Any intel on this ?
  3. We all know our embarrassing record against the Shinboners over the last decade but the boot used to be on the other foot . When they knocked us off on the G in 1969 , it was their first win there since 1952 !
  4. When Hoges comes out of contract i'm terrified a dodgy Carlton supporting millionaire will have arranged an undercover offer impossible to refuse .

The Draft can be a roll of the dice e.g. Chris Judd had shoulder issues as a junior which is said to have cost him a top two place in the classic 2001 Draft ( 1st Hodge 2nd Ball 3rd Judd ) . Ollie will no doubt play with strapping for the rest of his career .
  6. I suspect at least SOME of the jeering of Morton from MCC members may have come from Pie supporters who at last survey made up about 8% (8000) of the membership . Our support is only in the low 20's, a fact which surprises most people.
  7. Never been a Morton fan but i reckon he was our best first half player and had his most consistent game since his promising first year . Sure, that monumental turnover-clanger cost us bigtime but i rated him about 6.5 out of 10 compared to the ordinary efforts of Beamer and Sylvia ...about 3 each !

Spot on ! He's full of contrived excitement and LOVES a winner . Most neutral broadcasters have a soft spot for the underdog but not Dwayne Pipe . The Pies can be smashing GWS and he'll exclaim "Beautiful " and worst of all "Collingwood , the greatest of the Grand Old Teams ".

Quite agree , he is a know-all with an irritating " whiney " voice His idea of racecalling is to scream in top gear all the way through. Although he has a wide sporting knowledge i was surprised that he knew nothing about the switch of athletics to Albert Park from Olympic Park when the subject was raised by a listener during his regular monday appearance on John Faines's morning show on 774.
