He's mobile, but he's not agile. He lumbers. Not a great mark either for his size and has zero presence for a big man. He'll be about as useful as an out of form Tom McDonald. I don't understand why Joel Smith isn't pushed forward to give us a marking player. We should just give him license to attack everything. He kicked a few goals in the pre-season game last year from memory, when we stuffed his groin by leaving him on the ground. And give him hours of goal kicking practice because I know that will be an inevitable shortcoming.

I've got to a horrible point in my life where I want them to lose by a lot, as there isn't any other way to get change in the club than by truly bottoming out. The lack of leadership in this team and in the box is staggering. Nobody wants to stand up and make a real statement. The worst thing is that no matter how good our effort is, we are still going to be undone by our lack of skill. That's why I feel like this crop is in a hopeless situation. Any returns we get are not sustainable with this mix of players. There's going to be another 5-8 years of this for sure. Yuck.

He also said Brayshaw would turn out to be the best of the lot.. Even Harmes has turned out to be a more important player!

I can't agree. He is getting to contests that Oscar would never get near. We need to see what he can become. Reiwoldt only has 1 goal and isn't hurting us with his 9 posessions. We already know what Oscar is and he has reached his ceiling. This isn't the backline's fault.

I'd say 50% structural, 50% skill level. If we hit our easy targets like other teams did, we wouldn't be under this pressure all the time.
