  1. You can't love 'em all mate !!So who is it to be, Marat, Marcus, Swanny or Big Cox ?
  2. When Schwab turned up at Freo they were a financial basket case; when he left they were financially strong therefor he did a particularly good job in the West. You sure your Freo mates know what they are on about ?
  3. At the risk of upsetting the critics who post here, I suggest that injecting four class players into our side being Jamar, Jurrah, Watts and Clark would make a huge difference to our performance and our confidence. Removing a similar group from any side would make them struggle. We are not the basket case that many believe.
  4. Nice to see you've had a change of heart Bluey, after all you had himguilty on all counts months ago a labelled a drunk.
  5. Great ! Can't wait for an invite to the Sunday evening meal, the scones had better be good
  6. Well I guess the club should keep some money aside for future defamation cases eh Bluey.
  7. I was introduced to both sites by Whispering Jack in early 2004 and chose to post on Demonology as I found it much easier on the eyes and to navigate although I have read Demonland quite often. I have made many friends around Australia through Demonology meeting up with them around the country. I see no point in bagging any Demon supporter or either site and IMO those who choose to do so need to have a rethink. I rang Tim Stanes today and he spoke positively about the meeting tomorrow although he will not attend due to ill health. Thanks to Jack and George for their efforts and I hope the meeting produces some positive strategy which results in the revival of Demonology. In the meantime I will continue to read this site for which I am grateful.
  8. Perhaps you could give us all the benefit of your wisdom Einstein ?
  9. Thanks for your contribution to MFC Cam, 224, in the main, excellent games. Shame you wasted two years at the Hawks when a little less greed may have seen you reach 250 with our great club.
  10. Cassie has been in touch and my son will arrange a free ticket for her and she will be amongst many Demons. Cheers Rob.
  11. Thanks BM, I intended to edit after giving FP time to read post.
  12. Tell her to enter at gate 9 (Stanley Street) which is where all the MFC members/supporters who get their tickets from the club will be. Several hundred fellow Demons will be in that vicinty and she will be with friends. If she would like to ring - I will give her Debbie's mobile number.
  13. There are a few people working behind the scenes to restore the site dee-luded, thanks for asking, however we need Tim's assistance and at this point he remains unwell and we are reluctant to push the issue. The stats mentioned are actually a list of players for every game in each season from 1897 to 2009 with goals scored and from 1992 onwards there are full games stats, kicks, marks, tackles etc including Brownlow votes. There are also 100 odd player profiles to which the images I have saved were to be up loaded. Over 100 hours have been invested in these stats by myself and countless hours by Tim, hence my reluctance to see it all down the gurglar. Go Demons.
  14. Don't tell me the club are going to stand quietly by and let this incident go unpunished as seems to be the case as reported on our website. I urge supporters to email the club as I have done. "As a long standing and passionate member of this footy club I will be extremely disappointed if the incident which led to the fracture in Jack Viney’s cheekbone is not investigated by the VFL and the offender appropriately punished. For too long we have meekly accepted the AFL/VFL findings in similar incidents and two that readily come to mind are those involving Bail and Sylvia. For a seasoned veteran to attack the head of a teenage first gamer is nothing short of disgraceful therefor I urge the club to lobby for an investigation." Email to - [email protected]
  15. The club seems to be doing ok with sponsorship it seems. Perhaps the plethora of whingers, moaners and sceptics on this site might like to acknowledge the fact and get of Cameron's back.
  16. Under 16's Glenelg Vs North Adelaide Glenelg 4.4 8.8 15.11 18.11 119 North Adelaide 0.2 1.3 3.5 4.8 32 Under 16 v North This was an excellent team performance winning every quarter comfortably. Right form the first bounce the use of the ball and willingness to run was pleasing. There were numerous options up forward with the three Jacks (Donkersley, Whaley and Glazbrook) all providing targets. The midfield was clearly on top through Billy Stretch, Bryce Woolard and Alex Brown, and with Peter Clunes blanketing North’s dangerous forward with support from Luke Green and Riley Chant the opposition’s forward thrust were continually repelled. This was the start of a very heavy program where the 16’s play 5 games in 2 weeks with Centrals at Gliderol on Wednesday and the Eagles Saturday also at Gliderol Stadium. Final Scores: Glenelg 18-11 defeated North Adelaide 4-8 Goals: Donkersley 7, Whaley 4, Glazbrook 2, Cleve Westley, Stretch, Elliot Chalmers, Justin Evans, and Mark Smith all 1. Best: Stretch, Donkersley, Clunes, Green, Woolard, Brown. Courtesy of Bigdeeal from Demonology.
  17. BTW Robbie, hope to catch up round 4.
  18. As you know Robbie I am loathe to criticise players however I am not impressed with Nicholson's awareness, decision making or disposal. His efforts at Darwin in 2011 and at Metricon in the NAB cup were poor to say the least. Sure he is fit and quick but he needs a great deal of work in other areas. Hope he proves me wrong.
  19. Tom Couch upgraded from Melbourne's rookie list to replace the injured Neville Jetta. Reported on twitter by Dr Dream Team. Not surprising IMO.
  20. Butcher cleared by the MRP with our pain eased by the fact that Nate Jones was offered a reprimand.
  21. Hate to be a pedant RM but Dangerfield not only played the following week, he also kicked 6 sausage rolls. No justice, neither was there any when Moloney missed Bartel yet was still suspended for striking fresh air - need I go on ?
  22. Do you people know anything at all about the indigenous problems in the centre and the tribal law that exists ? Get hold of a book called 'Dog Ear Cafe', read it and you then may have a clue.
  23. Game declared a draw. Saints made the trip by bus whilst Essendon could not fly due to weather. What a shambles and sad for the locals and the Saints, don't care about Essendon.
