  1. I'm guessing you watched the game from The Abbey Earl?
  2. Top game! A hard fought win against a tough opponent ! They picked through our defence too easily at times but , in the end, some big moments from Max, Tracc , Oliver in the last quarter got us over the line. Some confusing umpiring again. Fritta - an absolute mare!
  3. Hilarious. Thanks chook! (Or have you been elevated to a lordly station?)
  4. It's been a dreadful week for your poor old Uncle Bitter. The Manor's central heating has packed it in and it seems there is no suitably qualified artisan available to repair it for about 3 years. Next the sound system on the cinema blew up and for 2 days subtitles became my friend. And finally, an unusual problem with the tandem trailer caused me considerable grief. Currently I am alone and reliving something akin to the experiences of Shackleton et el. I do , however, have my ever faithful friend Mr. Shiraz nearby and he shall be my source of comfort and inspiration throughout the evening. My second source of comfort will an inevitable Dees victory. Though I suspect it may be a hard fought win. The suns have a decent line up. A strong midfield ( though no Took will hurt) and a decent ruckman who always competes well against Max. Max and Grundy though ,will overwhelm him. May is too strong for King and I'm glad Turner is getting a run. I really liked what little I have seen of him. Dees to runaway in the end by around 30 points.
  5. Big Joe!!!! If he turns up anything can happen. Blues should be worried! FMD!!!
  6. Kath Loughnan currently interviewing Fagan live on ground. Players training in the background. What's supposed to be happening?
  7. Nothing is being mentioned on the Fox pregame.
  8. I quite like the dark one but .... the light blue on is ....... insipid!
  9. .... or maybe they'll play Frosty up forward. That would create some chaos - for both teams!
  10. I hope you are correct Red but Breust out leaves a bloody big hole in their ability to kick a winning score.
  11. You are right Loges - he certainly wasn't a match winner. However, he competed and put himself in the right spots. I would like him to get a follow up week just to make a better judgement of whether or not he can be a useful ( or better) contributor.
  12. If you can do those things ( and other .....errr duties) WCW then there are often vacancies on The Manor's domestic staff.
  13. Bah! I have no doubt that this is some cunning lawyerly plot so that you can sue and get your grubby hands on The Manor's pelf.
  14. At one time when I was in Education, I was looking after kids with "behavioural problems". I had one young bloke who was .... well scary... and he was on a list of prescribed drugs to "help him". His mum told me that one time she went to the chemist to get a prescription filled and the pharmacist refused to do it. He said that no child could possibly be on these drugs. Just after that, I had occasion to speak to his "Paediatric Psychiatrist" ( we're talking a seriously qualified operator here) and he told me that the treatment of such kids was "more art than science". And we wonder why we have so many [censored] up kids about.
  15. Isn't a touch of green beauty in an otherwise bland urban moonscape enough? Defrocked !!!! FFS Find an online dictionary.
  16. Excellent pick up dc. If so, certainly no prostate issues!
