  1. Correct dc but as you will also remember the need for an illegal Sunday beer went well beyond the 50's. I remember some difficulties in the 70's! However "a pleasant Sunday morning" was generally available during footy season. I do also remember a particularly desperate group of social misfits who used to refer to the Sunday morning [censored] up as "church". ( sorry for the blasphemy Stu)
  2. You gotta be kidding Stu! The 50's were the good old days. Good music. Uncomplicated world. The Dees won some flags. The only real issue was that the pizz was turned off at 6.00 pm.
  3. That's one tough missus! FMD - I wouldn't stay out late on the pizz!
  4. Interesting no outs named. Oscar seems a certainty so Wagner in. I'm thinking if Brayshaw is named he'll be in _ maybe for Stretch? After that not sure
  5. IN. Brayshaw, Bugg and Wagner!! No Clarrie Choo Choo - picket will be devastated!
  6. I'm sure they are honest hardworking people. Pass it on to picket dc .
  7. Same happened on my computer dc - must be one of picket's porn sites.
  8. "Deconstructed latte" !!!!!!!! Now I'm certain the world has gone mad.
  9. At the risk of offending my former benefactor Earl Hood - hipsters fall into any undesirable category you can imagine dc. BTW - I guess hipsters are shot on site in Borewood?
  10. That's a great question Col. As you know I'm one of Biffen's old mates ( one of the many he owes money to) So I have great sympathy for his homelessness issue. Bwahaha Bwahaha !!! I'm not letting the bludging bast ard anywhere near the Manor that's for sure!!
  11. An excellent observation. You have cut to the heart of the matter bb!!
  12. I just read the above and saw Kero on the vid. If only I knew how to post polls, I would want to know who, the discerning voters of d'land ,would rate the most sanctimonious - Stuie or Kero?
  13. Indeed! The last time we played it seems he was a "shadow" as he time and again marked on his own 30 metres from a defender!
  14. And people accuse me of having a bizarre lifestyle!!!! I wonder if any Demonlanders do this thing? ( Would even Moonie be silly enough?) Maybe Stuie has a Bible based version where one hunts down the beast that wears 666 I would appreciate further information on this matter.
  15. Apparently my grip on reality (no vulgar quips please) has finally totally gone. Someone was trying to explain to me that people are actually wandering our fair city trying to capture imaginary creatures with their phones. Tell me it isn't so.
  16. EErrrrr yes of course Earl. You know my record keeping is meticulous , however, it was the floods ...... yes that's it .. the floods. Lost the lot unfortunately. I'll settle for another $5000 and call it quits.
  17. Actually I have chased down dc's avian alter ego - Satyr tragopan (Tragopan satyra) Humans may joke about getting the horn, but the male satyr tragopan actually grows a pair. They’re electric blue, inflatable, and form a matching set with the bird’s brightly patterned, retractable, bib-like throat lappet. The male brandishes this wacky trio of now-you-see-them-now-you-don’t ornaments during a spectacular courtship display that is rooted heavily in the principle of ‘shock and awe’.
  18. Two more albatrosses around my neck - FMD, as if I don't have enough problems in my life!!!
