col has all the atributes to be the best player on our list (and possibly is). he like all our players have been a been up and down but that being said he has remained solid if not beter than most. he has the capacity to be a top 5% player in the comp. I believe it will happen.

i was wondering the same thing today as well. i'm waiting on 2 membership's. funny thing is my old man renewed his a couple of days after me and received his just before xmas. lucky it wasn't a xmas present!!!!! 20 years for me. i can't wait for round 1

the club will do what s best for the club. if that's ball so be it. i think they will take him at 18. we have a big experience gap. he has a proven afl history. he has his flaws - injury, speed & kicking penitration - but is a know quality. it is all good and well to talk about the promising future of all the young players on the list but who knows if it will come to fruition. i like all mfc supports hope most will go on to have long & successful afl carears which will lead to the coverted premiership. in the short term i think he will fill a need and is a safer bet than an untried tallent.

i think that the club will probably take a tall at 11 although that may depend on a better ranked player sliding out of the top 10. i have come to the opinion that the club will take ball at 18. still undecided if his body has long for the afl but he has a number of up sides. BP keeps saying that the club will take best available. probably less risk in ball then most other players available at that stage. barring injury should be good for 3 - 4 years at afl level. don't care if he hasn't spoken to the club. as Voss said he will play were he is told. he's a pro footballer so will suck it up and get on with the job. the later picks will be best available. club recruters know what there doing although with the last pick maybe look for another x factor project type PSD should pick up joel Mac. like him a lot. reads the play well, creates run off half back and can play tall or small. can't work out why lions would dump him for raines
