I feel like the longer the weeks go and I see stories or reports I still cannot believe he has gone.

Dam Zanker is a really good player and uses the ball well. But hope Daisy continues on from her good from last week and snags a few more goals and Harris just continues to do what she has been doing. And for a great win.

What a brilliant quarter. Daisy on fire. Our pressure was relentless & this is helping our percentage.

A first world problem I have to ask here. Compared to what's going on in Australia and the world right now this isn't a serious issue but for this game I have an important question. For people attending will you be rolling with your 2021 premiership tees or polos or sticking with what you usually wear. I normally roll with a polo but now we finally got our hands on these t shirts do I wear that now? It's a position I've never had to worry about before.

Got smashed in the clearances and centre clearances. Something to focus on to get right for r1. Look at least it happened tonight so we can iron out those kinks for 2 weeks time. We dropped some easy marks, fumbled and was a bit undisciplined. We aren't perfect. Get our good players back and I liked how after the siren our captain looked annoyed. But we get a breather, regroup and get ready for the doggies.

Players know the rules and will just have to get used to this showing frustration. Maybe instead of swearing just let out a yell to vent or swear under your breath.. It's going to be so hard for players that have a bit of a temper. But it needs to be consistent. I do not want to see a Dusty or Selwood or Dangerfield getting a warning or something. After watching tonight every player should now know to just shut up.

Can covid somehow affect DeGoey. I am so sick of seeing him nearly every night on the news training. I know it's not his fault he is the focus but honestly if he went to the toilet at training the media would report on it.

Over the years and during those dark times when player after player would leave I'd think gee it would be great to win a premiership just to stick it up all those that walked out and all the ones that stayed loyal would be rewarded. I get now why they did because of culture, always getting thrashed and some people that worked at the club, ie coaches or other staff, but I look at someone like Howe and can't help but have a chuckle. Yes he left to go to the club he barracked for as a kid and was told he'd play forward which obviously didn't work out, but to see our boys get a medal and his season resulting in his coach and president both leaving and his club under scrutiny for other reasons and not playing finals made me smile. Birch down back is very reliable. Yes we are still fumbly at times but other times we looked good. Nice to get the win.

Didn't he take time off towards the end of the season last year?

When people watch the replay do you just fast forward to halfway through the 3rd quarter because from then on it's just great viewing or do you watch it from the start and fast forward through the dogs goals?

Sitting down to watch Ash tonight I have the exact nerves as I did before our GF. There are a few comparisons, yes I know Ash has won 2 grand slam titles but it has been a long time since an Australian male or female has won this home title. When Chris O'Neil came out and took the trophy I had the flashback of Garry with the premiership cup before the game handing it over. Hopefully we get the same successful result. Go Ash!

How good is it having harris who just makes her physical presence felt. Her tackling has been good. Good having the experienced players in there Daisy and Paxman who have kicked goals when needed. We have been great after 1/4 time

Ha how good is it having footy back, yelling at the tv screen, getting frustrated with players and hearing our song at the end. The winning form rolls on Also good to hear Jason Bennett back calling the games.
