On tonights talking finals show, the new one on ch7 Tim Watson asked both Selwood and Cotchin if they were in Maynard's shows would they have gone around with wine and flowers the next day. Cotchin said it's about respecting the situation and obviously Gus was still recovering from concussion and just read the room and Selwood said when Tom Stewart had that incident with Prestia last year they reached out to Cotchin and Riewoldt to see if they could get Prestias number. JB said his sister in law, Gus's mum is still struggling with what happened. He said she was there at Optus stadium when her other son got punched and said she was in the stands last week and didn't see her son move for 2 minutes.

Caro isn't on wednesday nights. But I did see a little bit tonight, normally I avoid wednesdays because of Ed but they started talking about melbourne. Ed did apologise and said if it came across as dispresecting Brayshaw and what happened then he's sorry but I think these were his words, he was happy to see a collingwood champion get off. Which made me laugh because I would't consider Maynard a champion. But I feel for the other diners in that restaurant. I mean imagine if you couldn't give 2 hoots about football, you just wanted to go out for a nice dinner and you get this bloke standing up carrying on.

I'm more now more annoyed that we didn't get over the line last Friday night and disrupted there week with this case while they would have been facing Carlton. Then send them to Brisbane. Ugh

When Sean Abbott unfortunately bowled that delivery that hit Phillip Hughes it was just seen as an unfortunate freak accident

Seriously? Do you know what I think I just expected him to be cleared. My anger is more directed at what the ferals wrote on social media about Melbourne, our supporters, about Angus, Goody & Angus's family

Is anyone else feeling out of sorts today? I'm not sure weather it's because Maynard's case is today and either way there will be outrage, because the Collingwood fans are annoying me, or because I'm concerned for Gus or because I'm nervous about Friday night, because my work situation has changed or because the suns out. I'm just feeling really frustrated.

On channel 10 sport tonight his brother Hamish said Angus was getting a brain scan tonight by the doctor that monitored him last time. He said Angus appeared much better than previous concussions and was up and about.

It would have been Danny's 60th birthday on Friday to. So it's been a horrible for days for both families. I'm also assuming Gus wouldn't be able to drive and I'm sure he's been told not to come to training. On another note it's interesting watching parts of this spotlight story on 7 with John Platten & his concussion

The poor giants cheersquad. They try there best to be heard. But I'd rather hear them then the ferals chanting Collingwood. But good on them for showing up. Even had giants fans in the mcc
