  1. ha, I don't think I'd ever make a bet where if i win i see a dudes wang! That aside I cant see Richmond finishing above 15th, we were a game and a bit behind them this year and we were trying to lose! They were talking finals! Big changes to their list means they will take time to gel together as a unit, whereas we have had almost the same group pushing for selection for 1 or 2 years. As already said the draw will play a factor, but we are a better team than Richmond, if only for our attitude and heart.
  2. I happy with the way things have turned out. I was bitter about losing Kruzer at the time but our time has come. Nic Nat is probably going to be good, (the ripper 1st game isn't a 1 off), but Jurrah is a pretty exciting prospect and looks to be pretty consistent from what I've seen when he actually gets a decent run. Can't wait for him to start getting a full game in a set position. Too early to tell with Watts i think, need to see him with more muscle and game time. I think Johnathon Brown had a slow start and look at him now. Big things coming our way and I'm glad to have seen it from its infancy.
  3. Right on! I'm pretty pumped for next season. I was a little ashamed cheering an after the siren loss... No more long term sacrifices.
  4. I think we could have won at least 6 or 7, definitely the Richmond game, and i think we lost to the dogs and the eagles by a goal from memory. How about that north game though? We got smacked and i thought we would put up a bit of a fight. If we had played freo twice and not collingwood we would have found it hard to get the PP.
  5. I didn't mind the bombers getting in, what a good 3rd quarter. Hope there is more of that in the finals, really hard contested footy. Don't think bombers will pose much threat though with Loyd gonna miss at least 2 and i think i saw Ryder throw a punch too.
  6. Hey guys I just signed up then, this is my first post. I'm 23 nearly 24, live in Melbourne and am a final year Science student majoring in exercise physiology. I've been a Melbourne supporter since birth along with my dad and brother. I go to as many games as I am able to and this will increase a lot when uni is over. I used to play amateur footy up until i was 20 but I was always better at tennis. I love football in general and try to watch as many games as I can. Best Melbourne memories include meeting Jim Stynes and Gary Lyon at about 10 outside the MCG, qualifying for the 2000 grand final (i forget the result of that GF...), and this year seeing how the supporters of the club have showed their hearts beat true by reaching record membership in a wooden spoon year. I also enjoy seeing Gary on the stretcher!
