It’s actually happening. Our young super stars are actually living up to their potential . Hogan, Oliver and Petracca are becoming elite match winners for us. Throw in the number one Ruck-man in the comp in Gawny and one of the very best small forwards in Jeffy, and it starts to come together. Just need Hibberd , Lever and Hunt to get close their best and it’ll be strap yourselves in for the ride!

He looked good in the JLT , but seems to lack confidence, and it’s showing in his decision making. Looks like a skinny kid at times.

Lewis wasn’t wayward. 80% disposal efficiency and our best by foot. Some of his passes were sublime.

Kent is classy, quick and is a runner who kicks goals. Frost plays tall and is also a runner who can be very quick, insurance for Brown, but also makes us more attacking. Pederson has been just ok and Hunt seems to be low in confidence. Good changes.

Our backline is the key and once we get that right we will fly. No one expected Hibberd, Hunt and Lever to have bad starts. We all know they have the talent and once Frost comes in the whole dynamic will change.

The people who whinge about us paying too high a price are probaby the same ones who complain that we always get killed by the likes of Ben Brown and Joe Daniher , Josh Kennedy and the like. Make no mistake, if we had him this season we would have made the finals quite comfortably. i guess they would prefer an untried teenager at pick 18 or something than a intercept machine such as Lever. At some stage we have to make a tilt at the flag, now is the time.
