They can't investigate Melbourne after McLean says something, and not investigate Carlton when Fev says something. I have heard them they they have investigated the Carlton allegations in the past and found nothing. Well all they did was interview Ratten at the time. Just as they looked into our situation,after Baileys comments. Where does it end? Every time a disgruntled employee opens his mouth there is another investigation. The whole thing is ludicrous, and would never stand up in any court of law.

I think this will develop into much more than just an investigation into Melbourne. It be be an ongoing enquiry into several clubs and the whole so called Tanking agenda. This could drag on another 12 months. In the end I feel no one will be penalised, as the practice was common,and no hard evidence of teams being told to lose will eventuate.

What people dont understand is that we went didnt spend a whole season not wanting to win games. The reality is we were very poor, which is why we lost so many games. Towards the end of the season when we had no hope of achieving anything we rested a few and played a few out of position. What on earth is wrong with that?

I just wrote Caroline a letter explaining how she was wrong about the picks we have and about Jack Viney. I said alot of other things,as well along the lines of give it a rest, with some creative suggestions, on including other clubs , and perhaps what the AFL has done to encourage this sortof thing; and move on to something else unles you have any real evidence.

What I find strange is they have already investigated this when Bailey made his comments upon leaving,and they found nothing. Why then investigate us again? When questioned about Libbas comments about the Blues, they state they have already looked into it. Why then investigate us twice for the same thing? Holes everywhere.

What they should do is to not give away priority picks. They should also instigate a system where the teams 9 to 18 draw out of a ballot , picks 1 to 10 Picks 11 to18 are then given in order from 8th to 1st. This should eliminate tanking in the future.

If it is Moloney as the second player to come out,then he will be remembered as a rat instead of a B&F winner.

I think GWS will take him in either the preseason or proper draft. Will be really interesting if he goes in the national draft,as this will leave us to choose between Wines and Toumpas or Wines and Grundy. If they take him in the preseason draft,then Ben Jacobs is ours.

Disagree here. All we lost were players who couldn't get a game. Dawes ,Pederson Byrnes and Rodan have roles planned for them. And that's not forgetting Viney, possibly Wines, Barry and Hogan next year. A definately improvement on the list.

I find it amazing that couldn't trade Bate or Petterd. Oh well, even though some of these players including Gysberts and Morton may go on to do well at other clubs, I think we will be better for it in the long run. They obviously have a plan, and plan to use alot of those late draft picks. My bet is they will continue to recruit experienced hardened bodies from leagues all over Australia.

We dont have the luxury of developing a team of 75% skinny kids, we were non compettitive. Drastic action had to be taken. Im with this coach all the way.

Apart from Rivers, Moloney and Jurrah leaving of their own accord. All we have lost here is potential. Yet we have gained hardened experienced players of whom 3 have played in grand finals.

Best thing that's ever happened to this club. A good long overdue shake up. I've had enough of skinny kids and below par performances . We had to get the balance right. Still ave a lot of great kids in, Watts,Trengove,Tapscott,Blease,McDonald,Howe,Viney,Barry,Hogan and Possibly Wines. Pederson and Dawes are still young. It takes men to play this game.
