You cant really how a player goes until you see him in a match pressure situation. This bloke has bucket loads of talent in one on one situations and positions his body perfectly. The sort of player who when the ball is in his area you feel confident as a supporter there is going to be no easy ball for the opposition.

I thought Georgio was better than Strauss off half back. Really shut down his man. Strauss may be able to kick the ball but he is pretty ordinary one on one.

Players like Pederson and Dunn will be very handy for us throughout the season. Utilities, swingmen...both mature and strong,they gives us a bit of depth in the medium talls department.

Just watched the game again, and very excited about Trengove.....he will be like a new recruit if he keeps it up.

I reckon we will rest guys who are certainties for round one , like Vince and Cross

We now have real depth, and itll be hard for some really good players to get a game, especially when Hogan, watts, garland,dawes, clark , gawn and viney come back....who do you drop?

Did you hear that Bernie vince was stuck in traffic at flinders st before the game, had to dump his car, run a kilometre, catch a tram and arrive at the warmup 45 minutes late. This guys gonna be a gem for us.
