Its likely to be a redeveloped Gosch's paddock with admin/training building built over the car park in between Gosch's and the Magpies base. They may decide to move the footy oval over to where the rugby ovals currently are and switch the rugby ovals to where we currently train to move the oval closer to the admin building. I have no inside knowledge at all but I would bet on this being the site (from memory @Chook in Perth mentioned this a month or two ago). Bartlett and Pert both seem very confident so I'm not too worried about it at the moment. I think it will finally get done after 3 decades in the wilderness.

TV networks don't care about Tassie, ratings in Tas do nothing to move the needle for them. If it's not going to increase the league's broadcast rights (either short or longer term) there's not much of a case. I'm pretty sure they do have a GA section its just not very large. If Melbourne had 60k members we could theoretically make them all reserved seating and have no GA at our home games either (when you exclude MCC/AFL Members reserves)
