  1. Classic. Wonder if cale knows how to drive the big red car as well as murray! Yes I have young kids and wiggles not for my pesonal consumption (really).
  2. One premiership in my lifetime. That's all I ask. And I can die a happy man! Multiple, well of course, but that is getting greedy surely! But of course I won't complain :_)
  3. Patience guys. I was watching the intraclub with a few mates (don't tell my employer!) and we were having a great chat to Cam Schwab. What a lovely guy! So impressive...we are in great hands. Cam raised so many interesting points. One he mentioned was around the different players and with their different body types and loads. Basically he was saying that some of the guys that look really strong don't actually have the core strength needed and the club almost needs to re-build their bodies. He covered a few like Morton and Tapscott etc. He said with Tapscott he is totally over his injuries from his first year. However, he has not done the training loads required and, as such, he is effectively being managed carefully. He did say that (unlike some) he is actually pretty strong overall but they are still only building training loads. So treat him more like a first year player guys and be patient..as I said we are in good hands and from Cam S and Jimmy down the club. Enjoy the ride in 2011!
  4. Fair call hardtack. U certainly wouldn't want to watch deliverance prior to attending the adelaide stadium. Fiction may just evolve into reality!
  5. Look I also get concerned, but they do manage training loads a lot more now so jones (for example) might be part of these load cycles as might fitz, gawn + tapscott as they are coming back from injury, young and not used to heavy loads . It is when the same players continually appear week after week that there are obviously injury (not load) concerns.
  6. Pitty I know it is just a though but come on man. Perish the thought of footballers working hard in preseason, I mean they should be putting the feet up, chilling out and drinking heaps of bevvies after all. Bloody bailey for making them train...
  7. Totally agree norwood demon, except on one point...team rights are always allocated to the father, never to grandparents. In our house, the missus chose the religion for our two little uns and dad chose the other religion, MFC. Grandparents, are allowed to spoil kids rotten but on either of the two religions, I'm afraid they have no say. Although, it will be harder for you to keep him away from a local team in adelaide, but hey sometimes u gotta fight the religious wars!
  8. We have aaron davey's no for four year old girl. She said she loves aaron cause 'he is small but fast just like me!'
  9. Maybe one of his new teammates just took a pic of him with slug in hand - oh wait wrong team...
  10. Dunno about u all but i regularly take photos of my mates holding their diks and then store the photos on my computer...likely story indeed
  11. I'm planning to wear them xmas day to stir up hawks supporting cousins. Mind u one of them is over 200cm tall so I have no chance of stopping him ripping em off my head!
  12. Love your attitude and I wish I could find employees like you! (Unfortunately one catch is that I can't offer you an afl career ...)
  13. Sorry bd but what exactly is this thread about? U on the turps or something?
  14. Thanks sylvinator glad I'm not hallucinating! They are working the boys hard atm with a session wed and today I believe they are at casey
  15. On the train to work this morning and it looked like the Dees out on the track at AAMI. Can anyone confirm? Anyone attend training who can give us a report?
  16. Ps actually he would meet a need - that is for a skillful creative half back that can set up the play further down the field with a laser left foot. Sounds like a need to me actually
  17. Its called best available. Heppell would be an unbelievable get at pick 12. Why would we deny ourselves a player that has a higher percentage chance of becoming a gun than the higher rated talls likely to be available at that pick? We can look at needs (ie tall KPP) later in the draft. I still think it unlikely he will slip that far but if so halleluja!!
  18. Agree with e25. Reality is there is no-one worse at the moment. However, he does provide strengths in other areas.
  19. I'm not sure that jake has ever had a problem with rucking. In previous years he seems to play a tap ruckman but totally ineffective around the ground. So sign are promising that he may be coming on from a skills perspective (can take a while, hence why ruckman can seemingly come from nowhere from rookie lists). Fingers crossed...
  20. I missed it on tv but ordered the dvd through the mfc website. Just wow. It really impacted me in such a big way. As the fsther of two young kids as well it really shown never to take things for granted and that every day should be appreciated and that nothing is more important than family. Good luck jim and my thoughts and wishes are with you every day.
  21. Yeah there was no winner from that one...
  22. I think you will find we delist both so we can usw the extra third round pick from the hawks for cheney. Mcnamara could be a chance to be re-drafted as a rookie if not taken elsewhere (which is unlikely as he has not shown enough to be picked up elsewhere IMO).
  23. Drop five spots and give up our round 2 for hale. I'm not a smart man but surely you jest?
  24. In a word, yes. Sounds like a crock this trade, source makes hutchy look respectable
