    Totally inaccurate. Melbourne has done a lot of work with local schools and clubs in the municipality and is often complimented in the local media for the work its doing there. Nor is the relationship dysfunctional although it has its moments from time to time. When Chris Connolly was being unfairly attacked in the media, it was the president of one of the strong local clubs Cranbourne who praised him for his work in the area. The team won't always be a basket case and this a long term project. The worst thing is for people who don't know what's going on to put in their two bob's worth. Casey leads by 7 points.

Meanwhile at beautiful Trevor Barker Beach Road Oval by the bay, it's a low scoring development league game with Sandringham leading 3.3.21 to Casey 2.1.13.
