  1. Rare footage I think of Sam http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fu0_aDJu-4w&sns=em
  2. Even a broken watch tells the correct time twice a day.How many draft picks did Prendergast have during his time as a club recruiter and how many of them were busts? I would venture to say that his would have been the worst record in the competition by a long way. For that, the only hug he deserves is a heavy duty bear hug that crushes a few of his ribs.
  3. Please tell me Petracca's father isn't a fat, overweight slob.
  4. How about the "Goodbye Mr. Chip" Board?

Anything to do with the title of the film?

The salary cap rorts are already old hat. We're back in the gun because of our association with alleged criminals. They're now investigating our links with a gang that specialises in stealing bananas.

I suspect the trade and draft period will start with hope and expectation and fizzle out as all trade peiods have in the past.

I can confirm he's booked in for the surgery on Tuesday but why on earth is it happening in a maternity hospital?

Nothing about it on the Collingwood website, Swan's Facebook or the Drug Squad's Twitter page so it must be untrue!

They have more - they've got the Voldemort family. Overweight and overpaid dad. Fake tan sister and the honest little lord with the dunnybrush haircut. You really can't ask for more.

By golly you're right. I think I might start a thread on that very subject.

My attempt at the opening words of the preface by Sir Les Pattinson FMD "Never before in the annals of Australian literature has there been an historical narrative dealing with sport so stirringly and emotionally recounted than Orange & Charcoal - Recollections and tales of a tragic football club." Please add as you see fit ...

And that's not to mention some wild scenes of celebration in one of Mumbai's backstreets amid which new million dollar fortunes were made overnight with the result of the test and the dismissal of the Sydney to Hobart protest. Surely, there going to double up in the Sydney test when VeeweeS scores a double ton!

Sir, we've been doing banana fritters for so long here that it's time to do something constructive with them. I propose that from this day forward the father of HWSNBN should be called Phil Banana Fritter and that henceforth the son shall go by the name Tom Banana Fritter. And may their careers in Bleaktown always be associated with the turdlike qualities and appearance of their new surname.

Agreed we shouldn't let it peter out. Instead let's phil it up.

Thanks, now I know why the rookie draft is so important to the club.

This shows the sheer genius of Kevin Sheedy and why he is one of the game's great thinkers. He has salary cap issues but needs big bodied players so he drafts one who's already included in his club's total player payments anyway. Sheer brilliance!

I know of a bank in Nigeria that will give you a better return for your money if you send me the $100.

Welcome bigbob and I remember Swann as well but it was about 33 years ago not 40 when he made his debut. Very tall and the opposition worked him out very quickly so he became ineffective very quickly. Another flash in the pan from about 40 years ago was Ed Burston who kicked six goals one week and was dropped the next.
