Agree that OMac wasn't bad today, his par performance should be at the level he played today. TMac was good, but he gave away a stupid free kick Hogan was off today yes, but i thought he did some good team things as well. Wasn't his day, but he helped others around him (minus some brainfades) Jeffy was fantastic, a great crumbing game today. i was always calm when the ball was in Salem's hands (which was a lot today!) Jetta...............he continues to be the rock our defense needs. He is pure quality and deserves more accolades. Without question , the best small defender in the game.

Aren't there penalties for players that try to milk free kicks now? Well Cripps should be looked at with that weak effort. Hogan might have a case to answer, but his opponent definitely milked it for all it's worth

I found that many of his handballs today got us into more trouble than what he was under. Quick handballs is one thing, but not to put the next bloke under more pressure. I prefer Clarry taking the game on and wanting to kick it more.

Empty the forward 50, lead back into it not out from it Hit up a leading forward not a stationary one, and have a crumber at the foot of that contest (funny how Garlett got a goal from the spilt Hogan mark) Get long kicks manning the 50, too many times we were not confident in kicking the long goal (do that and the carlton defense will press up, allowing us to kick it further into the forward line)

Agree, couldn't cares less how far ahead we as supporters get, so long as the team stay grounded, what we think has no consequence on how the players' go. This isn't the butterfly effect ffs.

The only positives to take out of that first half were that we were bloody ordinary, and when we got our game going for 5 minutes we quickly scored. Lets get it going again

We went to sleep after getting up by 24 points. Where's the killer instinct? And watch out for the umps to bring the Blues back into this one, we've had a very good run from them during the game.

We are playing pathetic football. We are being way too precious and overusing the ball. What happened to simple football? We rush it when we shouldn't, we go slow when we shouldn't. We look disinterested and not willing to put in the hard yards. Clearly the player's have been drinking their own bath water. If i was Goodwin, i'd be giving them an absolute rocket in the break.

This kids upside is huge. Given that he wasn't in the representative system (U18's - Vic Country program) and was a late comer to the TAC program, his scope for continual improvement as he gets used to the full on footy environment is mighty tantalising. As he improves on his fitness and tank, his impact on the contest will continue to improve (staggering for a kid who gathered 36 possessions in just his 14th AFL game).
