WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM WEIDEMAN
Well if he does go, they'll need to give up something decent for him. That Howe bloke looks alright!

he started his coming of age in the GF againt the Filth in 2011. That makes it at the end of his 5th AFL year. He was also a big body right from the start.

That's a bit harsh. Cale's arrival came in that 70-odd point demolition of the Swans back in 2010 (he ran with Goodes that day too). It's just too bad that Cale's arrival also happened to coincide with his exit that day.

That's probably just Mick Turner doing his usual preaching. Every year he has a "the best i've ever seen come through"

Bill Lawry on 12th man comes pretty close. Bill: It's not a bad idea when you think about it Richie: Yes it is Bill, it's a [censored] bad idea Bill: Oh, Yeah now that you think about it Richie: And Hansie Cronje is just as bad an idea Tony: Bloody oath it is Bill: Stupid selectors Richie: Why on earth would they be considering those 2 Bill: It's stupid Rich, ridiculous, completely lacking in logic

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Given that the Scum were after our pick 2 for Myers i doubt what they deem as 'reasonable' will be anywhere close to being sane. Would reluctantly part with our 2nd rounder, but only would do so given that the draft is nowhere near as good as previous years. p.s. just remembered that he is part of the drug squad, so i retract my 2nd round pick. 3rd rounder at most.

No way, bloke can't even get out on the park.

Matt Crouch? If it was his older brother then i'd be a bit more excited, as even a half broken-down Brad Crouch has more flair than Matt.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
He reminds me a bit like N Riewoldt, with his running ability whilst also being able to rack up possessions as well.

He does, i'd even say we need more of his type than we do Redden. Just high-lighting the differences between the 2.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Mackay is more a wingman with pace, whereas Redden isn't overly quick and loves to be in the thick of it.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
I wouldn't mind extending his contract for at least another year with an eye to him becoming an assistant/development coach, similar to how Jnr Mac did it up at GWS. He would be able to provide some on-field coaching direction as well, which wouldn't be a bad thing either.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Fitz and Spencil will never be more than cover depth. It's just their luck that we only have an up and come-er and a decent ruck on his last legs. If we were able to bring in a decent/serviceable ruck with some experience (or even the likes of a Smith/Gorringe from GC), i wouldn't hesitate in giving both the flick.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
As much as it would be great to bring Thomlinson in, I think you might be overestimating him a fair bit. Dawes is still a fair ways ahead of Thomlinson.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
I reckon we should try and go after Gorringe from the Suns. He isn't getting much opportunity up there and he could rotate with Gawn in the forward-line as resting ruck. Howe + first round pick for Prestia + Gorringe?

Isn't he good mates with Dom Tyson?

Well either Viney or Neeld are to blame for that monumental blunder. Who overruled who? As i have heard it both ways. Did Neeld overrule Viney, or was it the other way around?
