He needs to run and jump at the ball to be effective. Kicks in need to be up in the air sure, just not into outer space before coming down. As @Bitter but optimisticalways says, a little extra penetration never hurt anyone

By having Grundy team with Max, it would at least give our forward line that it doesn’t have at the moment (physical presence). I don’t like it, as neither Gawn or Grundy are a KPF, they’d just be resting ruck. Unfortunately none of our talls has any physical presence. I want a B+/A grade KPF, none are available, so the best we can hope for is 2 C graders to be a stop gap until JVR is ready (even then it’s all our eggs in another great white hope young forward).
