I buy my membership every year also the raffle tickets on the way into the ground, cause i as well want the oldest football club in the world to survive. Sometimes i just think the club excepts to much from its supports, thats all clubs in all sports ranging from local leagues to the Afl. Clubs sometimes have to realise that if thats all a member can afford thats all the member can afford.

Dont think the club will make much money from there Pledge a win idea, this year.

Like the defence alot when WHELAN is down there, things just seem to run smoother. Always seems to have time to sum up the best decision.

I thought that Shane Neeves and PJ were good also, and Flash didnt play either. Whealan was good along with Greeny. Bryon didnt seem to do much, but inter clubs dont like them you cant go to hard, cause you do want to injure yourself or a teammate but in saying that cant take it to easy cause you want to get something out of them also. Got my membership in the post yesterday, while read through it, came across Demon Incentive Plan no disrespect what a load of CRAP. You can pledge money per win or donate a one off fee for the entire year.Ok if i pledge money per win will they pledge the same to me per loss, dont think so. Lets just name a few games from last year that i felt ripped off as a Melbourne Member, both games against Carlton And nearly every time we go over to Adelaide seems like our efforts are poor, just cant seem to win over there. What are peoples thoughts on this, i will probably cop a bagging but thats just my opinion.

Met Danners once while watching the old ressies playing at punt rd before a game at the G. Asked what i thought of of that days game. Spoke to me for about 5-10 minutes left, a lasting memory of what a good bloke he is even with the pressure of a game only acouple ahead.
