Brad Greens letter to members
There wasn't any mention of the Board Meeting or what they might be addressing. He managed to drive right around that. We aren't stupid. The club has long taken many of us for fools.

PREGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
Your first wish has been quashed, mores the pity. Maybe we'll get change at the other end. Not going to count on much personally.

Brad Greens letter to members
If you're going to address the members.. I.e the dyed in the wool paying stakeholders... then do them the courtesy of acknowledging the issue. The real issue. Of the thousands of likely emails the club received what % do you think expressed outright ire and contempt for the coaching and football dept ?? I'm thinking pretty high. Not just about another woeful season, not about 'roller-coaster rides' and any other platitudes. The only issue would be Goodwin. Green might have wanted to at least talk to us...not the hand. 7/10 for effort 3/10 for content

Maybe address the Elephant.. Something like that... The letter was waffle.

Time to go Goody?
Lol... see what you did there 😉 I certainly wouldn't presume Goody could do much with overhauled list.

An absolute waffle of a letter. Seems more concerned about Goodwin than the real issue. I await the likely non outcome of tonight's meeting. Green by name ..Beige in effect.

Scheduled or otherwise the timing is fortuitous. I can only imagine the agenda was updated after yesterday. ( well, you'd hope so )

Time to go Goody?
I should think a reasonable and logical approach by Melbourne that respects where all parties come to this point ,their responsibilities and their histories; would be a negotiated exit for Simon. Allow him his 'story' , his pride intact and the opportunity to drive the end narrative. Allow him an honourable egress. He deserves that. But we deserve better than our current situation. The choice for Simon ought to be 1) Go now ( end of season) but announce now so we can get on with things. Negotiated settlement. 2) Stay and your life will be merry hell. Under the pump by club and media ( no fun for anyone) ..and further impact your legacy.

On a serious note I feel for you and any other parent having taken kids to the footy. We as adults can at least ( in the main ) temper our frustration knowing in the end it's just a game. Kids don't see it quite so simply and their vested passion can be sorely tested. Both mine stopped following Melbourne years ago. One has no interest in footy these days... the other ironically barracks for...... StKilda Following the Dees is hard work. Kudos for being there.

It would be fairl to say the intelligence shown by Saints players was a reflection of those charged with their football education.. As was ours- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
