That's a pretty good summation by plough. I totally agree about Grimes and see him as the future general down the half back. We have a good stock of mids and suspect unlike a lot of clubs this eos we will be looking to fill particular positions via draft or trade . Many other teams will be shopping to rebuild across many more requirements.Time will tell but a rtr Chf would be nice

Essentially agree . One might make an argument for Sylvia when on song . Jones might get better in the tagging role otherwise turn them over asap and bring in better decision makers who can use the ball properly.

Didnt see the Trengove ommission coming and so it makes the others inclusion quite interesting. Am a little surprised ( and yet ) not that much with Juniors non inclusion after his naming for a return. Bail deserves his recall and am curious as to who will actually takek to the fileld Sunday. I doubt it Tarrant will actually line up as I m inclined to think theyd rest him another week much like us and Junior. Whilst I dont think for a moment the dockers will take us for granted or too likely they ought to win at home and might want Tarant fresher for next week against the Doggies. Hes not a bad mark actually ( and overhead )... reasonably clean hands. He would be a real handful once he settles down and bulks up

Im pretty sure Jack was taken by the Dees with Rucking prospects...but one who was amazing agile for his size and could play around teh ground a bit. hes one of those rare talls that can actually rove his own work.. a bit of a nightmare for oppositions.. Yes he's raw but he can ruck even if hes not at the top of that game yet..he can. He has a head for where to beand what to do.. just sometimes the execution is the undoing, but that CAN be worked on and you would expec with time and match experience he will mature and come good. He has speed ( in spades ) making him lethal down the forward line...but again, his kicking proess needs work. He a young kid ( bloody big one..lol ) got all the right attitude and works on his game...he'll be a cracker this one give him a bit of slack... hes just startiing out and already showing a bit in the magoos. what more do you expect at this time ?

Welll... you can improve your kicking... but you either have a footy brain or you dont and he does. Jamar, Gawn and Fitzy...three legs of our rucking stool.... thats one bloody big stool !!!! :lol::lol:

Internet helps sell AFL in China Chinese AFL site Well I thought id throw this up. I realise not all particularly care but as we ( MFC ) have been on this Chinese adventure for some time Its interesting to see where its going. Nice to see our Colours and sponsor well represented. I dont speak or read either dialect so hav eno real idea whats going on with this site other than it appears theres a big emphasis on the 'social networking" side of things with all the popular portals there. Other sections doa bit of "Footy for Dummies" in an attempt to explain the play of the game and some of the associated skills. I might message the club and see if even a one page mini-site couldnt be cobbled ( in Chinese on the MFC website) to explain the history of the MFC etc. ( It could be there..lol..but I couldnt find anything. Many think this exercise is just a waste of time and money...but I say just as they sought to expand their markets so should we...and theres a few of them !!
